Where to buy OTD keyboards
« on: Wed, 16 September 2015, 21:17:08 »
I am interested in purchasing a OTD keyboard yet I can't find any place that sells them... Even on Korean websites. Any links are appreciated.

Really!? I wanna see how that works out for an American that speaks no Korean and hasn't been on OTD for several years.
Hwood34 speaks the truth - classifieds work occasionially; knowing people, chatting, PM's, Skype works with time.
You are so new you make me look gregarious - and believe me, I'm far from that.
Lurk, check out the "post your Korean Keyboard" thread in the Geekhack media area, and be prepared to spend a lot of money.

i think i remember reading that OTD boards are intended to be kept in Korea. You might have some difficulty finding one, and if you do, be prepared to spend ~$800+

Well, there goes that idea... Sadly I don't have 800 us 1100 Canadian to spend on a keyboard.

Buy plane ticket to Korea, stay for an extended period of time and learn Korean, acquire OTD board, fly back to the states. ? ? ? ? . Profit.

Or just don't bother and buy a 55g Realforce and a 55g HHKB and find inner bliss as you become one with the cup rubber.

This. Before I came to GH, I've known about KMACs and wanted one. When finally I gave up the idea of owning one, BAM. TGR-Jane spanks my wallet.
