The stabilizer bars are easy, just pop them off, but the plastic stabilizer clips can be difficult to remove from the top without breaking; they’re much easier to remove from the bottom of the plate, after desoldering all the switches and pulling off the PCB.
There’s no reason to do anything with the stabilizers before popping the keycaps off. Just take all the 1u keycaps off first (I recommend prying up from right and left sides with a pair of butter knives), and then pull the stabilized keycaps off afterward. Unlike MX/Costar style stabilizers, on these keyboards the plastic pieces which hold the stabilizers to the keycap are open on one end, so the stabilizer bar will naturally slide out the side when you pull the keycap off the board.
Do make sure you want to do this before pulling the stabilized keycaps off however, as they can be difficult to put back on without taking the case apart.
