If you're not willing to tinker with a USB conversion my recommendation would be to use orihalcon's adapters. He did a really fantastic job integrating Soarer's converter inside a cable. I think if you PM him directly you can save a couple of bucks versus buying from eBay and you could re-use the adapter for an F122 later on.
It sounds like this would require a Soarer's, correct?
