« on: Sun, 01 November 2015, 15:54:24 »
For sale!  Feel free to ask questions regardless of intent to buy.  Feel free to make offers as well.

Dolch PAC w/o keycaps - asking $60 shipped CONUS
  • Internal Soarer's convertor - USB and fully programmable
  • Trackpoint is non-functional.  Original nub was missing so I replaced it with a light green one.
  • Bottom of keyboard is missing Dolch badge and 4 rubber feet.  These had to be removed to open the case.
  • Original Dolch caps not included

D&D 4th Edition Core Rulebook Collection - asking $25 shipped CONUS

Interested in the RS96 or 84 if that other sale falls through.

RS84 and RS96 are pending.  I will reply to all PMs over the next few hours.

Update:  RS84 and RS96 sold.  I'm surprised how much interest there was in the boards.  I'm happy that there are so many Geekhackers wanting to try these *relatively* unusual layouts :)

This IBM is the one with the AT connector that just plugs up, correct?

Not an AT (DIN 41524) connector.  Terminal style (DIN 45322).

Gotcha.  Makes sense why it's so cheap then.

But this would work with the cable adapter and then plug right in though, right?

I'm not aware of any commercial adapters that would work with this type of interface.  If you're not willing to tinker with a USB conversion my recommendation would be to use orihalcon's adapters.  He did a really fantastic job integrating Soarer's converter inside a cable.  I think if you PM him directly you can save a couple of bucks versus buying from eBay and you could re-use the adapter for an F122 later on.

That's actually the cable adapter I was referring to.  :thumb:

For as cheap as those adapters are, I'm not sure why terminal boards don't sell more often.  I mean, one adapter and you can use it with many boards.

It sounds like this would require a Soarer's, correct?
Please consider carefully before you decide to comment, for Jesus.

Yea I was surprised given the way I was pricing it, but I guess if you really just want the caps it's nice to let someone else have the Dolch PAC.  If it doesn't sell I might just hold on to it until Skidata or Miami Nights comes in :)

If I wasn't waiting for 3 sets of hyperfuse I'd have snatched that whole thing.  :(

Skidata should look glorious on that board though.  I vote to keep!

Final bump!  Then I promise I will let this thread die and stop cluttering up the classifieds.

Also, someone sell me GMK Purple mods and/or Blue Alps :)

12/3/2015 Update:  Locking this thread.  Will probably keep the Dolch and toss everything else.
