Gave only an example when it comes to waiting for manufactured key-caps because the days of having all the key-caps made and shipped within two months are now over.

Think only BunnyLake ran a Group Buy a couple of years ago, with a Purple and Black themed set that literally took SP one month to make and ship it to my address 8 weeks later.  The FASTEST key-set Group Buy that I have ever been in.

Have no idea why they are taking longer times to make any key-set (maybe due to SA Profiles, who knows) but that's the current landscape here in the land of SP made sets, so you learn to accept it.

Because we are dealing with a foreign manufacturer like JTK then it's a totally off the wall estimates that have proven to be wrong most of the time.  Again we have no choice but to accept the waiting time but at least BunnyLake hasn't done a slimy move like IvanIvanovich that literally stole everyone's money in the Miami Vice Rip-Off Group Buy.  Now that was a REAL Piece Of $hite that got away with stealing everyone's money and the forum admins here protecting him from any further questioning from us, who were ripped off  .

So YES Geekhack is definitely not the place it was some years ago when everyone's word meant something but now most here on this forum I wouldn't trust to mention anything, let alone give them any money.  BunnyLake is now the last person I trust here on GH, so if he decides to go down IvanIvanovich's path then there will be no hope for this place known as Geekhack.

The delays on this gb have nothing to do with me, the sets are in manufacturing, I pass on all updates I'm given

Me working with jtk is no different than if I placed the order with sp or gmk (both of which I've had great service from as well as both having delays and issues with)

Last I spoke with jtk was I'd guess a week ago and he told me in a couple weeks we would have pics of the actual sets and they would be in the sorting and shipping process

With regards to outstanding stuff outside of this gb, it's very easy to point to it and make it look like widespread outstanding problems, it isn't

Most gbs with anything outstanding is a handful of fiddly orders, with 2 major exceptions, toxic has about 50 outstanding orders, and hyperfuse has roughly 30

Hyperfuse will be concluded soon the caps are sorted and on way shortly to brocaps who will conclude it

Toxic is an entirely different beast that we are working on and have been open about, that is the one gb we don't have the sets to full fill orders on, we never received them back from the original proxy, we received enough to cover several hundred orders and were left short and through over a year of fighting to get what was remaining never did, we have all the extension kits but not the alphas and mods to complete orders

Whilst this was something out of my control, I do take responsibility and am taking steps to rectify the issue

We have liscenced a couple of our designs to another vendor in exchange for a share of their profit on the sets and these funds will go directly to sorting out this issue

With regards to the other bits that are outstanding, we now have these keys on hand, it's a very miniscule percentage of orders for those few buys and we received them in a real state

This has largely been fixed and we implemented a full featured support system to help deal with these problems

I personally have put other projects on hold until this is done

Whilst we do have some past issues, we also have a ton of past success, and what I have done and will continue to do is be fully committed to seeing these things through until the end, both financially and time wise

I will make sure everyone is made right and won't stop until that happens, it's been an uphill road and the results of all that work will soon pay off

True, I got every key from every Group Buy which was down to him and his crew, took a while but it did happen in the end.

Keep forgetting about you having a new kid to support, sorry Bunny, it will always be an uphill battle here in relation to EVERYTHING  .

Yes it sucks experiencing delays but there is not much that can be done when it's the manufacturer causing delays.
