I can't whether or not this is a unicomp with a card reader slapped on, or if it's just a similar shaped keyboard...

I'd like to bid, but I'm afraid to get stuck with some rubber dome POS.. Also, they only ship within the US.... I can arrange for someone to reship to me, but the cost is prohibitive.

Other than the CC reader it looks just like the two I have. Even down to the black keys under the key caps. If you didn't notice it is missing the key cap from the ./del key on the number pad. It should be noted that only IBM Model M's had the two piece keys like this one has as shown by the missing key cap on the number pad. I think you are fairly safe in bidding on it but like all things ebay you really will not know for sure until you get it.

That keyboard says Unicomp all over it. What else explains the funny color scheme and the ugly logo?

I would say it is a Unicomp, but it may be a rubber dome, the Unicomp I bought, the seller said it was clicky, but it turned out to be a rubber dome.

Most Unicomp On-The-Balls out there are rubber dome ones. Customizers are more likely to be BS because there's nothing going for them other than Buckling Springs.

I missed that, but yeah, it sure looks like a keycap is missing... I never knew unicomp used black keystems on their customizers... That could be useful for my black M13 where I have a couple clear keycaps I use for winkeys etc... Right now I have them sharpied black, but an actual black keystem would be much classier.

It's also got the exact same font as the IBM keyboards. But I think it might still be a rubber dome though.

Is that black Numpad period key the underside of a double part keycap? If so, it's more than likely a BS board, as I'm almost certain they never made double part rubber dome keys.

I never knew that. I do know that Unicomp's rubber dome keycaps are differently built than the buckling spring ones however. If only my camera worked I'd get you all a few pictures.
