Pink keycaps, PBT Ducky options?
« on: Tue, 19 January 2016, 09:33:29 »
OK guys, I need your input. My wife has this fantastic ducky from mechanical keyboards.com with I believe the pbt sub laminated blue/grey set . She wants to swap out the blue modifiers for pink and of course i want to encourage her interest in mechanical keyboards so i've been trying to find something to match. So far i've found blanks and ABS laser ones.. taobao has some pink ones for the shine that might work they also have a set for KBC - would that be close enough in profile that it would match up with the ducky?. I was wondering if anyone has some ideas or recommendations? I'm thinking i'll just grab a whole set of pink and use her blues to make my own miami set.

Yeah i saw that in the classifieds... and depending on shipping/total cost i'd consider it. I'm a little afraid she wont like the faint labels of etched blanks. Whats your opinion?

I like the legends but hard in low light. I used them for a month and they feel great, thickness is perfect too.

Etched resembles blanks pretty much. I have an etched blue/gray set and the can be pretty hard to see. Doesn't bug me because I touch type (and fast while I'm at it!)

Would she be open to the miami color way? The pink Ducky set also comes in printed, blank, etched, and laser engraved PBT (really think and quality caps). Those would probably be your best bet.
Such artisan, many caps, very keyboard.

Always searching for Bro caps!

yeah i wouldnt mind the blank or etched caps for the alphas since those are all easy to find, but when you're hunting around for the "home" button it can be helpful.
She likes the grey, but i'd probably take the alphas from the pink and her blues and put them on my own as a miami set.

This is what i've been hunting for... just not sure why I cant find it:
