Finally got around building my second keyboard. Very happy with it, need to do a photoshoot...Anyway: can someone explain the special keymap "Backlight LED" to me? I don't quite get it. Can it actually be used to change the Dedicated Mode (from Breathing to Always on for example)? It only seems to switch the Link of the backlight LEDs (Fn, Dedicated, Always off) but even then there seems to be something missing, I'm quite confused. Is it possible to have it on "Faster Typing, Brighter LEDs" and also on "Always on" when a Fn Layer is active? That would be my favourite mode I suppose...
i need these HHKB plates in my life. hope they come again in a future round!
I posted a little poll for the colours for the next run. I am working on setting up a GB thread for round 5 soon. Hopefully, a lot of you will join in on this GB, we sure have some fantastic things this time around. Stay tuned!

The PCBs will be from GON like R4 right?
Voted lime green and mint blue. What's the point in voting for a colour you can get elsewhere?

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but my question is relevant to Round 4. So I bought an orange PCB through this GB back in Feb and received it on time in May-ish I think. I only now collected all the parts required to build my KB (thanks massdrop) and started to build. I'm dismayed to find that the bottom 3 keys on the PCB fail the paper clip test when tested with AquaKeyTest. I cannot see any visible damage to the PCB around those bottom 3 keys.Is this something that's by design on GoN NERD keyboards, or do I have a bum?
This is very rare with GoN PCBs, but something may have been shorted somewhere.Sorry for the thread necromancy, but my question is relevant to Round 4.
