At first I thought I didn't get any again, but it was just my VPN that was slow, and after a few minutes I got an invoice. So excited! 5 Fugu coming my way ^_^

Holy crap! 5? Congratulations you lucky person.
Thanks! I'm super happy to win this time.

I'm not sure if closing 5 gave you 1 chance to win 5 or 5 chances to win 1.

I'm guessing 1 chance to win 5, unless  someone else tried for a number of Fugu but got less than they chose. In that case RNGanesha has truly blessed me.

I assume it's just a maximum that you'd like. There seems to be a lot of 5's (myself included). So I doubt its 1 chance to win 5.

Congrats everyone who got in :) and wish me luck next time xD

If it's not 1 chance to win 5 there would be a lot who wanted 5 that only got 1 or 2 maybe, and I haven't seen anyone saying that yet.

I'm predicting it will be more like the BBV2. The build has more of an artisan look, and you can't just order them as you wish like with HKP. Not saying the HKP are bad, but at least for me, the nightcaps are worth way more. Similar to Binge, Bro and KK.

Really stoked for this drawing, I'm a big fan of your aquatic designs ETF :D First the turtles, now the fugus. Come to think of it, the bomb kings kinda remind me of anglerfish.

The spines are optically clear on those and contain tritium granules in case you were wondering. The GID is pretty intense.

This statement about tritium granules got me curious. Tritium is an isotope of hydrogen, which means it's a gas and not a solid, and thus unable to form granules (AFAIK). This gas is typically enclosed in borosilicate glass vials that are coated with a phosphor on the inside which emits light when struck by beta particles resulting from radioactive decay of the tritium. Did you mean that these have tritium vials embedded in the resin? If that were the case, I would have expected the GID for each spine to look a bit more uniform than in the photo. Although that could be due to the vials being embedded at various depths resulting in different resin thicknesses overlaying the vials. Also the angle of the photo likely plays a role. I actually like the non-uniform look since it looks more natural.

Either way, this is a really cool innovation in keycap design and an impressive technical achievement.

Yeah, I was curious about that as well. Unless he cracked open some tritium vials and poured it into his mold? I'm not sure how safe that would have been though.

Opening the tritium vials would just instantly dissipate the gas into the atmosphere, so can't really pour it. I think each of the spines has an intact vial embedded inside, but only ETF knows for sure. Looks like I won't get to find out cause I got shafted by RNGsus yet again  :(

Congrats to the winners!

There was no specific numbers, but a couple photos showing the army amassing.  There is def more then  1 for most of the colorways. But i am sure there will be a select few rarer ones.

WAAAAAAAAAAH! invoice for 3 blind boxes!

did not expect to get all 3

*crosses fingers for a heterochroma classic fugu*

EDIT: reality kicks in, hope I don't get screwed over by customs, if I had to pay +- $35 to customs for a Keybuto with a declared value of $30 + $14 shipping , I don't want to think what I would have to pay for this.
Same here dude. I am super worried, I have a 50/50 customs history. Really hope they won't check it.

Hopefully ETF will declare them at the cost of parts - I've received some lovely caps from Binge, Booper, Bro and Krytone for $5 if you were to ask customs

Just got confirmation from ETF he declares them at $20 max, so that should be fine for us :D

There are more people than I thought getting 5. Congrats folks.
ETF is a cap making machine! Not so bold prediction: Fugu is gonna be everywhere, like the next Raven or Warmaster.
I'm predicting it will be more like the BBV2. The build has more of an artisan look, and you can't just order them as you wish like with HKP. Not saying the HKP are bad, but at least for me, the nightcaps are worth way more. Similar to Binge, Bro and KK.

I kind of agreed with you.

To me, caps that are made by artists like Bro, Binge, KK, CC etc. holds more value compared to, say, like 3D printed ones or those that can be massed produced according to order like HKP, not to say that they are lack in detail or whatsoever, but the artisan value in it, is what makes the difference. Pretty much like art drawings drawn by hand and those by printing machines... but that is just me though

Sad sad

yo tambien... 0/2 Fugu Raffles...
No pasa nada.  Otro vez :(

guess my luck on ETF's nightcaps runs out this time  :'(

Congrats to the winners!

Exactly, a painting is much more valuable than a poster, though they contain the same quality and the poster might even be more durable.
A painter will often paint the same painting and they are all very valuable still. It's the history of the element not the element it self. Also availability. HKP aren't worth much in the aftermarket, but look at clacks, holy ****.. One went for $850 last week.

Checked OP to see the colorways. So three colorways are mystery ones, right? So there is a chance someone gets those? Woootwooot!

I won four of them! OMG. At least I think I won 4, the invoice doesn't say fugu on it, but I can't think of anything else I would have been invoiced for.

ETF has already clarified this. Is you won, you won the amount you picked.

Not at all confused about the amount, sorry if that wasn't clear. Just wasn't immediately obvious that it was an invoice for the fugu raffle, but it's all cleared up. Thanks.

The line item on the invoice should say "Fugu Blind Box (Qty X)"
