Manuals are fun but I cant be ****ed half the time, if  I was to test drive both I would be like **** yeah manual. But then two weeks later at the first sign of traffic I would then be like I have made a terrible mistake.

Look at it this way, I started off looking at Corolla's and the Ford Focus. Now I am on ****ing Roo's. Also L/100km not mpg.

What is the accelleration like? Also what year? People seem to be saying that it takes a while to get up to speed but i dont know if it is similar to othwr small cars or it is noticably slower?

I mean its faster then your average civic lol. Its not going to accelerate like a wrx.

It is a 2012, while it is auto it has the shift peddles on the side. If I want some better acceleration I can always just use those.

But I bought it more for the fact that it is all wheel drive, a hatch, and can take corners like a mother ****er.

It all really depends on where you live. If you have to commute in and out of the city every day than a manual can get old rather fast. If you're on the highway or the open road a lot then why not get a manual and have some fun.

I am most likely going to settle for a boring impreza. Wrx is tempting but there are so many police in my area and i just have no desire to deal with their **** weekly. Also i started looking for a car based on the idea of fuel economy, which has crept into the zone of fun cars.

I have started to look at golf or poli gti as a happy medium but i need to just get something already otherwise i will just be searching for 6 months and end up buying a bike

Well of course you can have both, and I've never driven a wrx, but I'd assume it's fun as hell. Also never driven a miata, but I haven't heard anything bad about them, so I've wanted to give one a spin recently.

And I'm not going to try and make some bull**** excuse for the brz, it's nowhere near the wrx performance wise, but I have a special love for the brz. Especially since it's one of the best looking (not crazy expensive) cars imo

no argument there, the brz is ridiculously nice looking. although im more of a fan of the FRS's fangs than the BRZ's mustache.

i'd take one if i got a deal on it.

Yeah, for Subarus I like the BRZ the most, but if I was to actually buy a BRZ/FRS, I'd go with the FRS. The fangs make it look way sharper
