The 9500829 and 9500900 keyboards in that list use white Alps with the rubber dampers.  This is shown in the Wiki here.

The 062 'newer type' granite board is a rubber dome.

To make matters more confusing, some of them only work with SGI's early machines. Although they use the same Mini-DIN 6 connector as the PS/2, the pinout is different, and plugging one into a PS/2 machine will fry the keyboard and possibly damage your motherboard as well.

"AT-101W" is a good part number (with or without the dash) for the mechanical SGI.

It would be AT-101, they only made 101-key Alps keyboards for the SGIs.

The search button is located on the top right hand corner of the screen, between "Arcade" and "Quick Links"

What's wrong with asking people here on the forum about something they know a lot about? There's no need to be rude.

What model could this be?

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SGI-Silicon-Graphics-Indigo-Octane-Keyboard-GRAY-NEW-NR_W0QQitemZ350100070612QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPCA_Mice_Trackballs?hash=item51839720d4

I am planning to buy this, it looks neat, got L enter, long backspace.

I've this listing long ago. And as a caution, be aware of this description:

"This unit works like a regular keyboard, but it is FOREIGN LANGUAGE setting. Not pictured."
| Filco Brown 87 key | Realforce 87U | Unicomp Spacesaver | IBM Model M | Cherry ML4100 | Dell AT101W | Focus 2001 |

I've heard the German layouts are a little different than US101.

Rubber dome. The mechanical ones only came in US layout, even the European ones oddly enough...

Take this with a pinch of salt (the compatibility lists come from a Japanese source — I don't own any SGI equipment), but this might help you:

http://deskthority.net/wiki/SGI_Bigfoot_series

This covers all the Alps-made keyboards with Alps SKCM switches that I have found so far.

The ones that work with the Onyx and original Indigo are the non-PS/2 friendly ones, some P/Ns here - http://www.sgidepot.co.uk/sgidepot/kybdsmice.html

The non-PS/2 ones look different to the PS/2 ones too - the older ones are flatter on the front face, compare:

with

Even though the angles are different you should be able to see that the lack of contours (if that's the right word?) above the top row and lock lights on the old ones.
