Is mx cherry black generally more expensive than other switches?

Keycap: Would you suggest MX reds or MX blacks? I play some games that require quick reactions and controls on just the arrow keys and spacebar (double taps)... wouldn't it be better to have a switch that rebounds faster? I use reds now I just can't decide if I should stay on them, I mean I really like reds to be honest but maybe it's just the way my corsair k95 is made? does ducky have way better build quality?

It really is tough to suggest you a switch that you've likely never tried before, but there's a noticeable difference in stiffness between MX Black and MX Red switches. Personally, MX Black switches are fine for gaming, as long as you're a somewhat heavy typist. In my opinion, MX Reds are usually less fatiguing to type on, but you'll be bottoming out on them because they're very light.

Okay well I have a somewhat heavy hand in terms of key presses I like to either hit them hard or I press hard down on them, I'm on reds now and like them, just asking for your suggestion if I should go back to Blacks, I've used both linear switches, I don't like tactile

If you like Linear switches, try picking up a Zenith with Green ALPS on Ebay.

They're very smooth, a little heavier than MX Reds (but lighter than MX Blacks) and ALPS have a really nice deep, thick, sound compared to Cherries which sound like thin plastic in comparison. Most of the boards also have exceptional build quality and NKRO.

Not MX compatible, but chances are the keycaps will be double-shot ABS or dye-sub PBT, so the stock keycaps are good anyway.

green alps are really smooth but the short throw is what most people will not like about green alps and the slow return rate makes typing slower if you're used to fast return rate like topre or cherry mx
