Hej from Denmark
« on: Wed, 27 April 2016, 04:24:49 »
So, it all startet for about two weeks ago, I was browsing a Danish website equal to amazon, just alot smaller and on danish. I searched on mechanical keyboards, to see what would suit my laptop. I fell over a fully customized pok3r keyboard, with colored keycaps with no prints, wierd looking esc key, and a curly cable, with suinting color, I looked at the price, and was blown away, and thought to my self. Who on earth want to spent over 300$ on a keyboard?...

I started looking into customized keyboard's...

Three hour's later, I ordered a filco majestouch 2 ninja, pexon custom cables and keycaps...

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME?!

So here I am, my name is Nicolaj, and I'm a keyboard addict..

P.S. I just got my keyboard with the mail yesterday, and oh boy oh boy, it feels good!

Welcome to Geekhack!

This is a deep rabbit hole you've fallen down :p

What switches did you get in the Filco?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
