Hello everyone!

I have recently discovered the wonderful world of mechanical keyboards. And have always considered myself kind of an IT type guy, but never really understood how different (and inferior) the typical keyboards are. It seems like this is the best place to be for learning about keyboards, so here I am. I am glad to have found you guys and look forward to a bright future with you all. Thanks for reading!

Welcome to Geekhack!

It's amazing how long we can use the standard rubber dome keyboard that comes with most PCs without realising that there is something better out there.  Even PC builders who pride themselves on getting the best of all components seem to overlook the humble keyboard.

And when you do find that alternatives are available, the huge range of keyboard, keycaps and other customisation options makes you really wonder how you could have missed it for so long!
