It really kind of loses a lot of the 90's Nick appeal without the custom legends...

You would be THE coolest person in the office with that hands down.

That's a keyboard I would buy.

I didn't mean it as a slight against you in any way - more of a realization about how important legends can really be. I guess I just didn't figure it would make that much of a difference until I actually saw it.

If someone ever made this the biggest hurdle would be getting these legends 😔 which sucks

Star Tracks? Motorcycle drifting? ..

About the keyset--I could see that working as a dye-sub set but dbl-shotting all those custom legends might be well outside the price range that is considered sane for most people (dye-sub might be too expensive as well). I guess the real question is what manufacturer would make the dye-sub set? If you decide to design a more traditional layout don't forget the bright green!

Those legends are light-on-dark.  Not possible with dye sublimation.

Pad printed would be my guess.

Well, SP can do that color combination easily in doubleshot molding, but just from what I can see in the video I doubt that's the process they used considering the completely custom font and the way it hugs the edges of the caps (outside of the standard legend area for SP).  Just a hunch, it's probably pad printed.

Could it be laser etching? I know SP will not dye-sub light colors on dark keycaps but I thought that was their way of doing things and not a general rule about dye sublimation
