[IC] LightCycle DSA FULL Keyboard Keyset
« on: Wed, 24 August 2016, 18:59:35 »
I've been getting lots of request for the LightCycle DSA Keycap set for larger keyboards. I put together this set that should cover most keyboards out there, even ergodox. The reason I kept it as all one set is so that I could do this set in both MX and ALPS mounts. Let me know what you think and if there are any keys missing that absolutely should be included.

Updated render!

Is it being one set set in stone?

That is correct.  To make it viable to do in two different stems I have to keep it simple.  Child kits would kill this thing dead in the water.  I am making adjustments to the set at this time, so if there is something that is missing let me know and I'll see how I can accommodate it.

Thanks Evan! Have been looking forward to this, lovely set.

Any idea how it being a single set will affect pricing roughly? I guess you don't really have anything set yet but roughly, eg. can we expect it to be around 150?

I think this set needs a 1.5 u backspace, and control for caps.  Basically hhkb support, without blanks.  That  said alps makes this instant buy.

Looks great. Glad to see that it will be made available to other keyboards. I'm getting it with the minivan when I get paid and this complete set when it goes to GB stage. :thumb:

I'd love this.

Any chance of a set to fill in the gaps for those that already own the MiniVan version? Will F and J be scooped?

Also a 3U spacebar would make my Minila happy.

Any chance you can add the "HUNT" homing keys so that they're compatible for Colemak and Dvorak? And for ALPS any chance that the stems won't be super tight like the prior DSA ones?

Hot damn, love it.

Since it's Alps compatible, any hope in hell of a Big Ass Enter? You've got every key I'd need to cover my old ass NTC keyboard except that.

The light blue accents on the LightCycle make it for me, only reason I didn't buy Sky Dolch was because it was a little bit too bland for my liking as I usually prefer some vibrant colours on my sets.

Uh oh, I didn't know those existed, damn, guess I should've properly looked through the IC/GB threads at the time - Originative's website layout doesn't feel very intuitive to me (yet at least). Welp. My bad!

How would the BAE stabilizers be handled?  There was never a consistent method of stabilization when it came to Alps BAEs.
