It's only 10 days for a Christmastime shipment from Korea. This thing would take like 2 weeks domestically in some European countries. I wouldn't worry.

A little update.

EMS Korea told GON to wait for their official statement.

I also contacted Sprit to ask if he have had any experience with EMS shipping times. He told me that one of his packages used 14 days to get to England.

I will just give it time and update you when I get updates

There probably won't be much updates before after Christmas, but I will let you know if there are any!

Hope it gets resolved! Shipping during holidays is always a mess :(. But DHL is usually really good about these things (from my experience).

Cheers mate. EMS is typically pretty good too, but not like DHL level!

Good luck.

Not sure where you're based but I'm in the UK and I've been buying the 1206 variety of these for side LEDs on my GON boards. Work great!

Hey.

I just wanted to let you know that the shipment we are talking about had the mint PCBs and that the white PCBs and stabilizers are still safe and sound in Korea.
These will not be moved before I have a plan for the Mint PCBs.

We have not received any information back from EMS on GONs side.

If this shipment is somehow lost in the Christmas rush, I need to make a plan on how to get these PCBs to the group buy participants, this will be an extremely difficult task for me, especially financially, but my first priority will always to get these out to the GB participants. Expect delays if this happens.
I am definitely running this group buy as a person, and not as a business.

No action will be taken before we have waited a while after Christmas.

GON has been super helpful, and told me he will do anything to help if the worst should happen.

Meanwhile, we just have to wait, for EMS's response.

If there are any question, contact me on support@mekanisk.co, here, or anywhere.

Merry Christmas, Happy holidays, or have a nice weekend to everyone here!

Cheers,

LeandreN

Don't worry, the package will arrive. This year things got crazy, today I have just received a small package from Germany, it took over a month to make it, from Germany to Romania, it's just Christmas shipping  :thumb:

Time for another update.

I just recieved a mail from GON.

EMS gave him a positive update that the package is in Germany, but hasn't been able to leave the country yet due to a massive amount of packages during Christmas.

Hopefully this is correct, so we can get the package as soon as possible.

Thanks.

Excellent standards of communication as always!

I'm not sure about Germany, but here in the UK, if a bank holiday falls on a weekend, you get extra statutory holidays on the following week days to compensate, so businesses here are shut until end of today (27th Dec). If German agencies are similar, I wouldn't expect any movement on the packages until end of week

So I am from Germany and this rule with the extra holidays for holidays on a weekend does NOT exist in Germany. So from today on there are regular working days and the next holiday (that is not on a weekend) is the 6th of January here. (But nevertheless many people might be on holiday)

That's good for us, but bad luck for all Germans this year :)

Hello, just wanted to update you!

No news on the PCBs themselves, but I really can't do anything other than waiting. We will contact EMS again later, if it doesn't show up by next week.

I have been able to get some PCBs and parts from SPRiT that I want to stock in my store, these have nothing to do with this GB, but I just wanted to let you know that selling these parts will only affect me positively financially(which may or may not be needed, depending on where the package went) and not effect this GB of any sort.
The issue here is that we have to wait, if there was any other things stopping me from fulfilling, I would never do this.

I am all for democracy, so if this is an issue to you, please let me know. Here or by email support@mekanisk.co.

I am also doing a case GB which you may have seen over on deskthority.
https://deskthority.net/group-buys-f50/the-mountain-60-high-profile-keyboard-case-t15467.html
Since that GB involves finiancial risk, I am not willing to start it before I have a concrete plan for THIS GB.

TLDR:
Still waiting, will be here answering and updating
Stocking on some parts in my store which have nothing to do with this GB
Case GB on Deskthority when this is in box

While I bought my GON NerD60 pcb in Round 4 I need some help with the Nerdy GUI.

After the first setup (which was really easy btw) I wanted to change one more key, but now I cannot change any key anymore.
The program loads just fine, I can remove keys (as in remove Caps Lock) but I cannot add anything (like replace the capslock with Ctrl).
Saving works.

Anyone got any idea?

EDIT: Nvm, seems like after a few restarts it works again.

Update.

I have now requested that GON send the white PCBs and stabilisers with DHL after we got an update from EMS today.

They told us that their packages after the 3rd quarter of each year often gets delayed. They told us that almost no packages go missing between Germany and Norway. This is quite a large package.

This was also an expected delay we were not informed by.

Usually the wait time is 1 month, but it looks like this year, it will be delayed further. (It's been a month very soon)

2 months is the maximum wait time ever recorded.

Thanks. Sorry for the delay!

Exciting. I'm a sure there are a lot of products coming out of Asia considering the amount of things also manufactured in Korea. :)

Sorry, LeandreN, can you please clarify the update... I don't read this as great news quite yet. I understand your message to mean that your/ our package (including the mint green PCBs, etc) is nearly one month lost and they have yet to find it but packages are rarely/ never lost for more than two months. Is that correct or has the original package been located?

The second shipment of white PCBs you've asked GON to send via DHL is a replacement or additional parts of the same initial order?

Thanks for all the communication on this- we appreciate it!

Sorry if it wasn't cleared.

We shipped with EMS
It did not show up so we contacted them, after a while they told that due to the Christmas rush, it was expected to be delayed 1-2 months.
It has been 1 month soon.

They also told be that is very uncommon for them to loose packages of this size, and that this was an expected delay they hadn't told us about.

Has it been located?
They tell us it is in Germany, but we never know...

The shipment from DHL is all the white PCBs and stabilisers, not replacements for anything.

OK, thanks for that, LeandreN. So we may have another month until your shipment is located and then you will be able to distribute. Quite unfortunate, but, hey, as the bumper sticker says, "$h!^ Happens." No worries- we know you're tracking it all and we'll be keen to hear when the package has finally been found wandering the streets of Munich. :)
