Board Games/Tabletop gaming

Curious what games everyone is playing. My current tabletop war game is warmachine. Other board games I've been playing a lot are: eclipse, blood rage, pandemic, secret hitler, Quarriors, and tokaido

I approve of this thread.

I just started playing x-wing. I don't really have a group I play with or anything, but it's pretty fun when I find someone willing to sit down and learn the rules. I actually taught my girlfriend who beat me on our first game... pure luck...
Munchkin is also a mainstay in our house. I wish I could get into more table tops but I don't have a serious group to justify the investment. I had a group doing shadowrun for a bit but it feel through

I've played a couple rounds of x-wing and had a lot of fun playing, but I never bought into the game because I knew it'd be a huge money sick for me.

I don't have any friends now, but I used to enjoy playing Small World, MTG, Cards Against Humanity, Citadels, and Dixit. Also played Pathfinder for a little bit.
Good times.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know some stores like Barnes and Nobles are starting to host board games nights if that interests you. I use to play a lot of MTG but I ended up selling most of my collection. Citadels and Pathfinder are great. I might start playing an Iron Kingdoms group soon since it's and RPG that takes place in the Warmachine universe

I've only played it twice, but Carcassonne was fun.

I've heard good things about Carcassonne. Sadly I have too many other board games on my wish list to pick it up and none of my other friends own it :(.

I've recently been playing the dbz panini tcg with the wife. Also, we've beat eldritch horror twice in a row now!! It's my favorite board game, I need to get Arkham horror too. I think I have a board game "to buy" list of several dozen things.

I've enjoyed playing Bang!, Settlers, Power Grid, 7 Wonders, Tobago, and most cooperative games. I also really enjoy Cards Against Humanity and Stipulations when I am with people who also have dark, twisted humor.

I haven't played in a couple of years. All my friends who used to play have moved away and I don't have the time to go to meets. The last game I really enjoyed playing was Eclipse; my own copy remains unused and to this day in hopes that I will bust it out.

I so regret selling War of the Ring 2nd Ed. and Puerto Rico Anniversary...  :(

A friend of mine just returned from out of country so I finally have a small group to play games with again. We're trying to get a d&d classic game going but still working out some details like whether or not we want to run it on roll20 or in person with pen and paper or possibly some mix of both. I'm dming so ultimately it's my decision but we all live about an hour away so weekly games might be tough to maintain. Also I've never dmd or run 1e so I want to make sure I got everything together so that everything flows nicely. Nothing takes you out of the game like stopping every encounter to check the book.

Eclipse is fantastic! I need to pick up the expansion at some point. Also the steam version is really nice and has online play, if you're ever looking for people to play with. Sadly the steam version is just the base game.
