Color used : TU2 on N9

Hi everyone, as you might(not) know I am currently running Dolch Reborn GB, with Miami Night Legend color, while the base color are in Dolch Color Scheme.

However, there are quite a lot of demand from people that they want to see Miami Night scheme, so here it is.

We plan to run a base only kits GB, around 76keys if the demand are enough.

(To make thing clear, 76 keys is all the keys in render with N9 BASE, TU2 LEGEND, you will need other mods to make it a full set.)

No pricing information for now, but we expect it to be near ±60$

*Edit 1 : Update the thread with a more proper image.
*Edit 2 : Add 3 new render images with Cyan, Magenta, Orange Mods respectively.

It's a shame, I'd really like to see this set done but the side printing isn't for me and without Ergodox, Minivan, Planck support I'll probably pass, even at the very low price point.

Agreed, too bad there is no support for MiniVan.

At $60 I'm 100% in, for that price especially I'm sure you'll get plenty of interest.

The magenta side legend is contrast with cyan front legend.
Some keys with contrast side color is visually intriguing and awesome. However , too many keys in this way is disordered just like Numpad kit.

+, we keep getting re-reminded, I somehow managed to deal with the issue initially, but seeing the render, I'm not so sure any more

I support you tho, the choice of N9 is also a nice one, and bumped F/J's = mmm, my humble suggestion, maybe drop the side printing

I mean, the side printing, that's a 1:1 tie to our tragedies, even in the original GB, most people only went along with the side printing out of respect for Ivan's work

On renders, it looks great, but in reality, you can see the pores in the GMK pad prints, it also changes the glare of the keycap

As long as the two ISO alphas from the bottom of the picture is included I'm interested.

I'm not a fan of the front printing though... especially numpad and numrow.

Ya, this is actually like some addon kits to my Dolch Reborn GB, but you can also them with any N9 base MOD, like Skidata+ or Sky Dolch, even the upcoming GB like GMK Viola, Terminal etc.

i'm good with it, to add a bit of a splash magenta on the board if one goes with cyan mods instead of magenta, which I am planning if the GB goes through

I think I would prefer to have the alphas without side-print if possible. The Dolch Reborn alphas looked kinda OK with them because it's the same colour (I'm still not a huge fan, but they're OK). With the contrasting colours in this set, I think we're probably best if the side-print could be removed.

To answer a few questions :-
1. Numpad area definitely stay.

2. Side Printing will also be there, cause this is what make this unique and not another N9 Base with Legend tweaked.

Glad to see someone is trying to retake on Miami Nights. I really like your side-printing. While everyone has been bitten badly by Ivan, Ivan had the right idea when designing keysets; his Dolch set I think is the best Dolch set out there.

Hope to see this one hit the GB phase!

I second this, if side printing must be there then I would much prefer print colour to be Cyan instead of Magenta, at least it will lend a bit more visual consistency this way (and, say if I want to mix and match the alphas with N9 mods from other sets like Dolch or Skidata, this would avoid the colours clashing. With magenta side print, the only mods you can feasibly use without clashing is the magenta mods set from Dolch reborn.

Some update over this week, the layout of this sets is pretty much finalize(refer picture below), also, I decided to adapt ISO kits design by Wodan to accomodate more ISO keys for this sets.

Feel free to comment below, for now, I am still waiting for pricing from GMK to get a GB on as soon as possible, and get this deliver at the same time with Dolch Reborn.

**Noted that the Magenta Side Print will still be there.

Those mods are from Skidata

I saw it was said Skidata also used N9 (?) I'm not great with GMK color codes, but that render has magenta on some of the orange mods as well as some legends not familiar to Skidata. Could just be changing legend color on pre-made render though... The magenta isn't a killer for me if I'm using Sky Dolch mods but I'm feeling those orange mods with cyan alphas and magenta is strange there.

I just think it is a good idea to make these dark alphas, they look sharp.
