Do matias clickies actuate and bottom out the same as Alps whites?
« on: Thu, 02 February 2017, 23:15:45 »
Got a keyboard with alps whites and hoping I don't need to get a matias clicky, I was wondering if the alps requires 60g to actuate and only 30g to bottom out, like the matias?

No, Alps switches have completely different travel profiles. 70 gf, 1.5 mm to actuate.

I thought they were meant to be replacements for the alps?

The click switch (part no PG155B02) is a clone of the Alps SKBM White switch and is intended as a direct replacement for it.

White Alps =/= SKBM white. Also, Matias changed quite a few things themselves.

What are the characteristics of SKBM whites?

Is it conceivable that I wouldn't even notice the matias having 60g actuation and 30 to bottom out?
