These colors are nice.  I'm a little concerned about the yellow on teal but otherwise it's a great colorway.

Plenty of teal and yellow mixed if you do a Google Image search.  It's a nice combination, actually.

Interestingly the creator of a Vista-themed set has a Macintosh avatar.  :D

May's at least a small bit more time for people to save up for this.  Maybe also set aside some wife money for the chewing out that will be received for yet more keyboard stuff.

Yes, you're right.  I guess Yuri is going to launch in Mid-May, a lot of people are waiting for .
May is not the right time for Aero to launch.
I'll revise this design carefully for a period of time.

Ahh, good catch.  Probably wise to let wallets recover a bit as that's been one waiting for quite a while.  Still, I'm trying to limit myself on sets but I've planned for this one already.

Yup, that pretty well sums my thoughts up as well.  Would love to try a GMK set out on my XMIT board but don't feel like yanking my only set off my main board to do so :D

Just something that came to mind: are the alphas going to be significantly lighter than GMK Triumph Adler modifiers?  Those came out fairly dark in person.  I hope this set will be more medium brightness rather than dark.

Liking the colorway that I see. Am on the same page to drop the "Vista" theme. Hopefully, will see a set with keys to support 75% boards too. Do take a look at keys from GMK Honeywell & GMK Carbon, very good "basic" sets that cover most setups.

Basiclly, I just want to use the default color codes of GMK, so all that I can use for cyan color are TU1 and TU2, if I use other color codes, they will not fit the AERO theme precisely.

Thanks, now to figure out whether TU1 is the color that was used for TA modifiers or whether it's different.

If TA used the default GMK color codes, may be they are the same.

GMK Triumph Adler used a custom color.  It's referenced several times in the original IC.  I also know that the custom color mix from GMK famously led to several quality issues with the set and forced GMK to reevaluate their mixing and batch properties for the sets that followed.  I believe they've perfected it now.

Not really into this particular colors combination. It is always great to have more GMK made sets options, though.

Sign me up.

I will gladly wait until you release this. The lighter colours are great.

I would prefer is this came out before Nautilus or Laser as I like this more, but I know you don't have much of say in what comes out first.

I don't think there is any chance of Aero next. Nautilus is imminent, it will drop when Carbon finishes. Laser might follow Nautilus, but keep an eye on MiTo's thread as he may have some firm news posted this week.

It looks much better with an "Enter" key vs the "Vista" key in the first image. The yellow on green alphas and modifiers look like an excellent combination.

I'm not sure about the particular orange color. Possibly it's too strong? I would play around with some layouts myself and see if there is a slightly softer, less intense orange to make a more constructive suggestion, but I can't find a reference page for all the colors GMK offer. Is there one?

Are you looking for suggestions on the key selection for the base kit and child kits? or are you just focused on the core concept and colors for now?

Great looking set, love the novel R3 "Aero" key. Very much looking forward to the gb.

Please consider adding 1u R4 keys for the right hand cluster: ctrl/alt/menu. I can't help but think this layout would be more popular if it's more widely available.

Yes,that orange color spacebars make the whole layout not quite balance, maybe orange spacebars are not good for this layout.

You can refer to this website to tryout every GMK color to see the combanations.

Some colors that were initially custom became their stock colors, such as cyan, magenta, and "DSA Retro" burgundy and brown.  So this fact does not preclude the possibility that TU1 is a "perfected" TA modifier color: that's what I'd like to know (it seems to be the case).

I would second this. A 1u 0 key for the numpad would be awesome too. As far as colors go, I would like to have an orange arrow cluster as well but that's more of a want than a need.

I've been lurking and drooling over this set for months waiting for it to launch. I'm so excited for it, I think you nailed the colors.

Have you though of doing a novelty cap, or is that the purpose of the Aero key? I think its a really great and fun detail when sets add those (like the little plum for the GMK Plum set).

The "Aero" and the win logo keys with circle are novelty keys. :p
I don't think I want to add more novelties because I want to keep this set more cheap.
