First batch going out in 24 hours, I've attached tracking info on PayPal, let me know if you've paid but not received anything.

Next batch will go out next Tues (GMT+8) given that it's Singapore's National Day this Thurs and I will be going back to Malaysia for the long weekend, not to mention the courier companies won't be working as well :P

For those who still need some time to pay your shipping invoices, please do so before Sat (11 Aug) so that we can have it out by next week  :thumb:

Mine comes tomorrow, getting antsy. That brass plate makes me regret not getting one. Looks great!

Got mine this morning  :-*

flawless, little dusty but easy to clean up. Test everything so far and they all work. Will build mine w/o the diffuser since it's flimsy  :thumb:

Thanks beamingrobot and thesiscamper for the great work and GB experience!  ;D  Album for more pics below:

My keyboard also arrived. I'm happy and sad.

The back LED on the PCBs has a different color.
And the Stepped CapsLock LED does not turn on. Both PCBs are the same.
And there are other small problems.

After seeing the issues above, I tested my PCB and found the same issues with the LEDs. Both the caps lock led and the LEDs on the back are off. I also have 3 backlighting LEDs showing the wrong color.
Edit: after doing a thorough inspection on the rest of the parts, I found some small defects on the aluminum plate (nothing big, a wavy looking cut and a small chip on one of the holes). There were also some small pits in the anodization but those are only visible on the inside.
Also, there were another set of screws included in the bag, some of the included screws for the main body were different lengths. Am I supposed to use the screws in the bag that are identical?

Regarding the LEDs, I personally tested all the PCBs and managed to get them to all light up, so it's a bit odd that some of you are having issues?

Try changing the LED colours using bootmapper, and yes the screws included in the bag are recommended.

I have seen this happen before when there isn't enough juice getting to the SMDs. See if maybe a pad is loose or something?

Unfortunatly, even if I mapped it as a bootmapper, the color of the back LED of the PCBs is not changed and the Stepped CapsLock LED does not turn on either.

Have you tried changing USB ports/cables etc?

I spent 2 days testing all these functions on all the PCBs and it worked on mine. Please check if you're using a USB hub or not, if you are please connect it directly to the computer.

Even if I connect the PCB to another computer, changing the USB ports/cables does not change.
Of course, the usb hub is not used.

I'm really at a loss at why this would happen, since all of them were fine before I sent them out and I tested it with bootmapper as well.

One of my PCB has the LED issue too, green led won't light up no matter which color I set it to.

Hi Beamingrobot, are you the one whoís answering the email? Iíve email you guys (again) on Aug 18th about my order (the last reply I got from you was so far off since Aug 4-5th)
Iíve even offered to come directly to your local address in Singapore (or send the kit locally to my friendís address in Singapore as needed if it bothers you), but youíve been silent for quite a long while now. What should I expect?
Itís unfortunate that you guys (or the factory???) messed up my order, but please at least dont keep me in the dark. Do some communication for god sake!

Not sure what you have discussed with beamingrobot, but please be patient. He is most likely busy with other stuff at the moment and I'm sure he will get back to you as soon as he can.

I had an idea for using wood for the spacer. Could the file for that piece be uploaded so people could experiment with different materials there? Having different materials would be a nice detail.

Got mine yesterday morning and put it together. This is my first custom board and its awesome, I love the weight and typing on it is so excellent! Forgive me if this is a stupid question but how can I customize the keys, can I use QMK? What layout should I pick from the dropdown? TIA!

I'll upload the file.

It's ps2avrgb, so you'll have to use bootmapper client. There are people working on qmk compatibility I think, buy I'm not very familiar with the project.

How do you handle a problem PCBs?

depends on your pcb problem
QFR | MJ2 TKL | "Schumiboard" | "Bulgogiboard" (Keycon 104) | MIRA SE | Weaven (MOD-M) | TGR Alice (68g vints) | MEME | Keycult No 1 (when it ships) | Southpaw Fullsize (when it ships) | I mostly use the Alice, but the Mira gets some use

has puddsy gotten an award for person most involved with things hes not involved in at all, yet?

Hi does anyone know the width of the gap between the bottom of the case and the PCB? I'm planning to put some butyl rubber on the bottom and don't want to run into any clearance issues
