Hey ClickClack -

I was just looking at the red esc key on my Realforce and I thought - why not a complete set of red keys for the whole keyboard? The color is perfect and I think the red on black would look great! What do you think?

Hey everyone! (first post)

Since it seems a bunch of starcraft 2 players are reading/posting here now, perhaps some game-themed keys could be an idea.

Some keys with such things as a hatchery icon, overlord image or drone could be fun to put on their respective hotkeys.

I really like the look of the splat design though :)

would be $ and " for me :P

But it doesn't combine the awesomeness of those two numbers combined in one key. Also without being on one key I could accidently press 24 and that wouldn't help anyone.

Furthermore you could make the key dark blue with white lettering ;) and/or give it a corona (not the beer, the sun thingy) like this:

I think that would be great too, and I am hoping I can scale up to accomodate such things. At the moment though full boards would have to be a specific commission and I am currently busy with preproduction.
Thanks for the interest, if things go well that might become a possibility sooner =)

I have some game related prototypes, but I am going to wait and see how these keys do before I start focusing back on those. Thanks for suggesting those particular images so I can become more familiar.

Never mind.

So I took a quick trip with my x-ray goggles and unfortunately after looking at the top two rows of 3 different keyboards I was unable to find the number 42 =(  FAIL!
I thought it would find it, but I found just about every number other than 42.

Details soon-ish

The ice keys are unique looking. Imagine doing a Model M look out of them, where the white keys are done in clear ice and the grey keys(modifiers and such) are done in green ice. There's been a lot of vague talk about these being really expensive though, so maybe that would cost to much? Considering this is a forum for people collecting three figure keyboards, that's kind of scary.:fear:

You inspired me to do more testing on the gun metal keys, hopefully I will post some pics soon of the new gun metal prototypes. They look a bit more like metal now.

Indeed possible, but also a bit tricky for many reasons. I have prototyped some things and have investigated others. We shall see =)

Thanks for all the interest everyone, I am working hard on ironing out all the kinks in this initial run, it's been a huge learning curve to say the least.
