ClickClack, are you planning to come out with keys with legends as well? Thanks.

Perhaps for some keys, but my focus is on more unique aspects and designs at the moment.

Clickclack, I really like your paint splat designs; are those as far from production as they are far down your initial post lol :(?

They are in preproduction form, essentially they are ready for production fabrication if things go well this round (crosses fingers).
I fully intend to release them, and I would love to do it sooner than later.

Releasing them in WASD sets would be awesome (as long as Topre is including so I can get a couple sets for my HHKB's).  ;)

LoL!
I don't mind at all =)
Having Elitekeyboards as my distributor and working in a collaborative way I can expand the possibilities and availability of my keys and equipment. EK also has the ability through experience, visibility, and infrastructure to help guide my efforts. If I had to do everything myself I would have little to no relationship with the customers, and no safety net.
I hope that helped answer your question =)

Quote from: kalrykh;256651
EK has a great reputation here, as well as a website already setup for ecommerce and a fedex account with discounted rates.  While GeekHack has been right beside Majestouch since the beginning, his business has spread beyond just us.  If you want a filco or topre and you live in the US, his site is probably the first place you'll end up.  I don't know if it's a consignment deal or if Majestouch bought the whole batch and is reselling them, but either way, it seems like a partnership that is beneficial for not only clickclack and Majestouch, but also the customers.

Indeed =)
Thank you

I am kinda swamped with work and the release of these keys at the moment so some of my responses in threads, pm's, and email may not be immediate. Sorry for any inconveniences this causes.

Yes and it's been in prototype form for a long time, but I am not satisfied with any of the now 5 prototypes.

I have prototypes of them for the following:
-Cherry switch
-Topre switch
-ALPS switch
- "M"

=)

Sorry for the delays everyone, I am still trying to respond to everyone and work at the same time.

As happy as I was to read in the EliteKeyboards newsletter that your keys were on sale, I was disappointed to see them dropping Filco.  I suppose they are going to be replaced by Ducky?  I'm sure this has already been discussed at great length here.

These keycaps are great.  I really like the see-through "ice" ones and the splat ones.  Can't wait til you get some of those out, while the skulls are well done, I like flatter keys.

Will be awesome once you have a few designs actually out in production :D.  Also lol @ the candy corn ones, those made me hungry.

It's OK, we're already sure it's Leopold. Namely due to the meta tags on EliteKeyboards starting with the word "Leopold" when they used to start with "Filco".

I checked the about page on EK 3 days ago and that didn't say Leopold on it like it does now. The meta tags did have Leopold in them. That must have been changed after the cat was out of the bag.

You sent an email to EK? That edit was probably reverted for the time being.

EDIT: I checked Yahoo, Bing, and Google for any instances of the word "Leopold" on Elitekeyboards.com and none had any results. Even on a much smaller time website than EK I got (minimum) crawled once a week by each. This makes it extremely unlikely that the about page has had the word Leopold on it for very long... how long is "longer than three days ago"? (I did have a sitemap specifying crawl frequencies, but that's essentially a request - if they visit weekly and you ask them to visit example.com/foobar monthly, search engines will oblige, but if you ask them to crawl daily on example.com/barfoo and you're not that important, they typically won't.)

Also, rip, good catch.

Yes this was indeed one of my original prototypes, they apparently really got around.
This one in particular was meant initially for a sculpture and not a keyboard, however it was cherry mx compatible.

You sent an email to EK? That edit was probably reverted for the time being...

... on it for very long... how long is "longer than three days ago"?...
...Also, rip, good catch.

? I sent the email to my girlfriend 4 days ago when I noticed it.
On a side note, I really need to get a shirt with that pic on it! It's classic XD

was wondering, where could I get myself some colored ALT, CAPS LOCK, CTRL, SHIFT blank keys like yours ?

I would try a site search, I think it might be mentioned in the wiki. Please feel free to check back as I may have them in production if all goes well.

Maybe I've been out of it for too long, but what keyboard is that?  A highly modded Japanese HHKB?  No...

Did that one guy ever produce the HHKB-sized keyboard with a trackpoint?

I think you mean lowpoly and the miniguru, here is a link to some recent activity-

=)

Edit: regarding your first question, I don't really know as I am horrible at getting decent translations and stuff. I think it's called the 356, sixty might know. But I did provide a link, so you can get confused all on your own =P

Its a 356M (mini), part of the 356 custom keyboard series. Price nowadays is around $300-500 for assembled ones.

Its also very similar looking to the HHMX (another of their custom boards, opensource pcb), but has a slimmer case:

As many know I am very behind with work and responses. If you have submitted an inquiry just know I will get to you as soon as either this site or work will let me. I usually do try and go in order. Thanks for your patience.

OrgTGs and PPTGs thank you for the help. All New TGs are D10TG and will be notified accordingly.  =)

I don't have a date yet for new releases, but soon-ish I suppose, as things seem to be going ok so far. =)

To Everyone-
I have been having major problems getting geekhack to work consistently on my computer/internet and I am still a bit behind with work, so when I can I try and burn through replies, but there will be more delays. I am truly sorry about this but thank you for your understanding and continued interest! =)
