Any way to use a terminal model M?
« on: Thu, 14 February 2019, 00:07:31 »
The long story short is I accedentaly purchased a 1395666 model M keyboard and a separate ps/2 cable. Its only come to my attention that terminal keyboards wont work with modern computers. Are there any cheap ($30-$40) ways to make it work with modern computers?

If not, any tips on selling them?

Look for "Soarer's converter". It should auto-detect which type of IBM protocol the keyboard is using.

You could get a $5 Arduino Pro Micro, solder it up with connectors (or inside the keyboard) and download the firmware to it, or you could buy a ready-made one on eBay for a bit more.

Citizens United violates the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president.
So now we’ve just seen a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect and sometimes get favors for themselves after the election’s over.”
