Looking good! What's the current weight of it? Will you get it anodized?

Not sure the weight on it right now, but it will of course be lighter anyways when it is finished.

For now I think will sandblast it. i would love to anodize it, but my budget for this project has been emptied long ago.

Sorry...
I have tried to find info of the PCB in production  but as the thread is too long i can't really get the answer for my question

Is the PCB in production a rev. c board with full led support which does not require external wiring?

Yes, it requires a separate module though which is not made yet.

Thx for your reply! :D

So when I have received the pcb, without any other modules, I can only have my led at the 11 spots turned on?

Yes. The module will be directly attached to the PCB btw.

I don't know if there's much info (if any at all since it's mostly about Rev A. as far as I can see) about the addon module though?

I would classify the LED backlighting add-on module as Vaporware™ at the moment. I don't think komar has had time to work on its design just yet. :)

But to answer the question, yes, only those 11 LEDs will function with a "stock" GH60 PCB (final revision).

Giving the fact that the pcb fits every poker case it should also work with the universal plate and a duck v2 case right? :D

From the Duck Mini V2 group buy thread:

Quote
Now, you may use Poker 1 PCB, and if the shape of Poker 2 PCB is the same as Poker 1, you may use Poker 2 PCB too. However, since the dip switch hall is not through out the case, you need to detach PCB from the case to adjust dip switch mode.

Me too! Luckily I still have the ability to make adjustments if need be. I would just have to refinish it, as clamping would scratch the sandblasted finish.

This thing looks awesome!

I think it would be safe to assume its too late for me to get into this GB… :))

Would my next best bet be to pick up something on the classifieds after its all done and dusted? or anyone who has already changed their minds?

From the first post.
Plate

Plates will make your keyboard will feel more solid overall and help disperse some of the typing stress. They’re optional, but most people do prefer it. Each layout will require a different plate. HHKB and winkeyless layouts can use any ANSI or ISO plate with 1.5x modifiers. I designed these so the top switch housing is removable without desoldering, which helps with swapping switches, springs, stems, lubing, or stickering later on. All the plates offered in here are stainless steel. They can be directly dropped in to existing cases. More details on this in the next post.

Of course WFD isn't getting the plates made anymore, not sure if that changes anything.

Okay guys, so a status update:
The PCBs have been produced and the US/Canada part is being shipped to tjcaustin. imsto's package is on its way too, directly from China.
The plates have been ordered, and they should take another week to finish production, according to ApocalypseMaow.

Since I'm responsible for everything that isn't USA or Canada, here's an extra status update for those people:
I thought I'd manage to ship the plateless orders before the ones with plates, but I won't. This has to do with our European taxes, and my beautiful country's taxes in particular. I will wait until the plates are ready to be shipped to me and then ask our PCB fab to send the boards, so that they come more or less at the same time. I won't go into details, but this is because I'd have to pay extra tax if my whole process takes too long.
