The ever elegant Datapoint Acer KB101A with caps from my DC-3014. Acer caps are pretty, but they aren't so pleasant to type on, at least not for me.

Just love the logo.
KB101 is a pretty keyboard, reminds me of the Model M.
What's wrong with the stock caps? Aren't they thick dye-sub PBT?
Well, the caps are very pretty and look a lot like the dyesubbed PBT you see on salmon Alps Dell AT101 boards, but it's actually ABS with some kind of printing method that no one is sure of. It's very similar in effect to dyesubbing and goes deep into the plastic. The thing I don't like about the caps is that they are relatively thin, especially considering Alps Electric caps are the thickest Alps caps available.
I also have an Acer 6011 which has white Alps and the exact same kind of caps. I really didn't like the feel and blamed it on the SKCM White switches, but after I got the KB101A, I realized it was the caps!
There's also the KB101AS which comes with doubleshot caps that I believe are made by Alps Electric. I'm just glad I had an ANSI set that'd fit. I put my Dell AT101's PBT caps onto my Leading Edge DC-3014 and the Dell originally had the DC-3014's caps, but the Dell AT101 ultimately ended up with the Acer KB101A caps and yep. :P
Here's the DC-3014:
Not as pretty as the KB101, but it has more of a practical design and it also has NKRO.
