Except for SP with their DCS caps there aren't even any companies left that make those large spacebars anymore.

Also good luck finding matching stabilizers.
You would probably have to bend them by hand lmao.

It's a borderline obsolete thing that only gets used as a meme by maybe a dozen people in this community (if at all) and is otherwise only found on vintage keyboards that were made 40 years ago.

And you still can not even get 10u spacebars from GMK.

Can  you add in the unit measurements for all the renders? Also, was a bit confused between the IC and the kit renders cause there are some I wanted to choose on the IC form but I can't. Other than that, I'm in!

While I am willing to jump into any Nintendo/SNES inspired set, this one just looks sooo bland compared to voodoo's work with SA SNES.

Try to make alphas' grey color lighter, and purple a bit more vivid. Also mods would look so much better with dark grey/light grey other that dark grey/purple combo.

I mean... you're not wrong that the colors don't perfectly match an SNES's console/controller if that's what you're insinuating.
Voodoo6k pretty much NAILED it in that regard.
But I don't think that it's fair to say it's bland. The dark purple used is plenty vibrant already, but it should probably be a bit more blue/indigo than the voilet (red) used if you want to be closer to the actual console.

I think one of the most attractive points about MT3/SA SNES is actually the centered legends and rounded shape of the keycaps. Perhaps that's you find that set more "interesting" as well?
The staunch and rigid shape of GMK, plus the font and alignment just doesn't really lend itself to that fun 90's "Nintendo" feel the way that the bubbly shape and large centered fonts of SA do.

If you wanna see a REALLY boing version of SNES, go check out Originative take on the colorway. That **** looks like a week old funeral.

At any rate this set rustles my jimmies. I think I may buy it... even though I'm around two years in waiting for my other sets. lol.
I must hate having money.

All that said. I do agree the color choice on Voodoo's set is pretty much chef's kiss.

Keep on arguing. There is a vendor and designer working to get proper wires for 10u manufactured not by hand. Unless GMK is as stubborn as you, they may listen to designers and the community. If they make all sorts of novelties for custom keysets, I do not see any reason why they can't make 10u spacebars. You can treat is as a novelty for a ****ing "meme" as you insist.

You are still completely missing the point lol.

Of course GMK could make 10u spacebar molds.
But that would easily double the price of the spacebars kit and also raise the moq for it.

And I'm 100% sure that finding 250 people or more that are willing to pay $80 for a spacebar kit just because it has a 10u bar is going to be pretty hard. Even in this community.
Meaning that the set would most likely just fail to reach moq entirely causing nobody to get any of the spacebars.

It's just not reasonable to include something in a kit that would increase the price of it that much and that so few people are actually interested in.
If at all it would make sense to sell the 10u spacebars as an extra kit. That way the normal spacebars would still get made even if the 10u bars fail to reach moq.

The reason 10u is feasible for DCS is that you don't need special/custom stabs, they have a mold that works with 7u stabs (along with the classic 8u stab version for older boards). So basically any board with tsangan layout could reasonably accommodate 10u bars. Sure it's a meme, but it looks cool and some people like it, so why not price it? If it's prohibitive, then you remove it

i wish the 30 lives kit was more useful for boards without a double column macro area. it's just a lot of keys to dedicate to a very specific novelty.

The text novelties works on SA SNES because SA mods legends are similar, but with GMK it doesn't imo, but idk if just reduce the font size would work...
The rest is looking really nice.
