The inspiration for this set came from my love for the great outdoors, specifically the ambiance from the moon. This set uses a dark blue-grey to represent the cool color of the night, and a beige-gold to signify the yellow hue the moon gives off on a night in the wilderness.

The novelties have been catered to create a visual representation of the outdoors, with rocky mountains, toasty campfires, as well as camping!

Interesting, back when I was in the process of running GMK Ashes I asked Kate if I could do a Bonfire metal cap, she told me I could not due to the fact that Camping used something similar. I wonder if they told you this too or if they just let you use a campfire. Nothing wrong with the collab cap, I think it looks nice! Just thought it was interesting.

I just wanted to see the alternate alphas in a render so I made one.  I used the RAL colors for both, but the lighting on mine might be a touch higher.
Used RAL 1002 - HEX D2AA6D  and  RAL 260 30 10  HEX 3A4856




Edit: Yeah, taking these down because the colors didn't match exactly and I don't want mine to affect someone's decision.

I absolutely love this set but cancelled my order because of the lack of communication. An alt alpha render was promised over a month ago and numbers weren’t posted either when promised.

It’s not a good look when you’re asking people to put money down for a group buy.

I was about to purchase when someone postred renders of the set with colors that didnt match what the images of the designer looked like. Since he didnt react to that post I bowed out. If someone posts wrong renders opf your colors and thats up for a few days you should really say something straight away. The lack of clearing it up made me remove the item from my cart again.

I've to say that here already the kits pictures are on the grey side, like the cable, but the renders under are slightly more on the blue side so I was wondering. To me it's OK since I liked both variations anyway but I'm curious now if there's still some third version out there.

He said they were slightly off but even for slightly off those colors looked bad. Since nothiong by the OP was clarified i was too unsure
I was super unsure then especially after the whole peaches and cream color trouble. I know Amalfi was a pBT set but still even that didnt look like it was planned.

Sorry for the lack of communication here. I posted pretty fairly regular updates on /mechmarket and /mechanicalkeyboards on Reddit, and answered questions on the vendor discords as frequently as I could. I apologize for not giving geekhack the same attention that I gave the other venues. I genuinely do not check GeekHack as often as I should compared to Reddit and discord. I know that some of you chose not to join the group buy as I missed some of the comments and posts on this thread, so I am sorry for that. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the set that you want to reach out to me about, please feel free to message me on discord (Fox404#1741) or on Reddit (u/mkljfox). That said, I know that limited extras will be available down the road for every kit. I'll try to address some of the comments (albeit late) below. Thanks so much to everyone who supported the set and joined the group buy.

As far as the "unofficial renders" that were posted: the individual reached out to me privately, so we spoke there and the renders were removed by that user so I did not comment on them publically. They were not an accurate representation of the colors used in this set. I tried to get additional renders done but the individual who did the original renders was no longer taking commissions due to time constraints. I reached out to a few others, and those that replied had no time to get them done due to other obligations. I (poorly) attempted to do some myself, but they didn't turn out well at all so I chose not to post them (Rendering well is difficult; I find it pretty dang tough to do). The colors used in this set have both been used by GMK in the past, so matching should not be a problem.

Numbers: They were great. I mentioned in an earlier post that all kits were being made, but below are the final numbers.

The colors used in this set have both been used by GMK in the past, so matching should not be a problem.

I searched the RAL code, RAL 260 30 10.  I could be wrong, but it looks like the same light grey from GMK Umbra.  Could be my mind playing tricks, but the renders for GMK Moonlight have a little blue hue.  If I had to pick blue or grey, I would say the Moonlight renders look blue.  But now that I'm looking extra closely, I guess they are grey.  Weird.

The intent is definitely a blue hue, so if the sample returns grey we can have it adjusted until we are happy. I'll definitely post updates on that process.

Totally. I am waiting to have it in my hands (in 2 months, thanks MyKB) but from those pics it looks like some Mistel GlazeBlue or cheap yellow on blue combos (sadly). We'll see...
