Not gon' lie, Apothecary Diaries is actually not bad.

It's a riff on China's costume dramas, but with a non-serious weeb flair that is quite palatable.

On average, it's more "fresh" than the overused anime plots of typical.

Starting season 1 right now.  ENG dub is not bad, acceptable.  Solid use of Chibby throughout.

They're on to season 3 already.

Texas flood.

23 summer camp members unaccounted for.

#1, their parents decided, that outside is safe, it is NOT safe.
#2, they probably voted for ..
#3, climate change IS NOT REAL.

One of the more interesting and unique IC checks I've seen over the years. Would love to see this set in the production stage!

Doomsday bunkers don't work.

The problem is the "Wealthy" aren't much smart than the average.  They're only slightly smarter, + the luck in their corner.

Even with that luck, our species cognition is 5-10 years. No one has a 100 year plan, and yet all the problems humanity faces require 100-1000 year solutions.

It takes 10,000 years to reverse 4m of sea level rise, AT, PRE-Industrial Co2 levels.

That is to say, it's pretty much over.

Did this ship?

Not yet; though production has completed, so hopefully very soon.™

FWIW, I also post monthly(-ish) updates over in Discord and via email if you or others would like to follow along. There is also a more granular Notion tracker I've been keeping up-to-date throughout production (and will continue to update during fulfillment) for anyone who wants to see specifics.

Hope this helps :)

Is it just a fact of life that once a human reaches a certain age they begin developing aches and pains in their bodies that never go away?
Does every older adult simply have constant 24/7 pains in their bodies they just learn to live with and work around?

Yes and No

The old joke - Patient: "Doc it hurts when I do this" - Doctor: "Well, don't do that" - is not really a joke.

Take care of yourself as best you can, and then learn to adapt and ignore.

For example after my shoulder surgery I will never be able to shoot a basketball or throw overhand worth a damn.   c'est la vie

PS - I get a hamburger and fries at McDonald's once in a blue moon, there really is no substitute

I'm actually more optimistic than the Intel doomers, as the IPC isn't that bad, if their x3d thing works at all, I think 30-40% from 285k is easily cover-able.
Rumors are starting to circulate that new Intel is also degrading.
Doesn't matter how good if it doesn't last 2 years.

This is the problem with radical new designs and process changes in a short amount of time.

They really should slow down, FOCUS.

Honestly they should just stop making any TSMC CPUs, unless they are selling off their own fabs.

It doesn't make any economic sense to be powering up Taiwan to continuously kill American process competitiveness.

That is just really stupid.
