The Groupbuy Date is confirmed to be from February 20th 2025

Vendor list is finalised:

US - Divinikeys
CA - Deskhero
CN - KBDFans
KR - Geon
EU - Keygem
UK - Prototypist
SG - Ktechs
OCE - DailyClack

Deskmat designs are now finalised:

I thought it would be fun/interesting to do non-rectangular shapes for some of them for unique looks.
I was evidently heavily inspired by poker mats too, and although they are a bit smaller (none exceed the typical 900mm x 400mm dimensions), the dimensions of the outer edge of the card spaces in the middle will still frame a standard poker card.
Please note there is no golden shimmer effect or gold foil on the deskmats. It's simply a gradient which gives an illusion of a shimmer.

There will be an Artkey Universe artisan collaboration in early March. I'll show previews of that as soon as I can.
I'll be open to any other artisan collaborations if there is particular interest.

Given his impact on today's world, I felt that I needed to learn more about this man-boy-monster.

After reading some of his other books (Einstein, Jobs) I figured that the Isaacson book, in spite of its length, was probably the most informative biography.

MW Indigo Dyeing| Double Shot

Backgrand
Dear friends, hello everyone! I'm Wutong, and I'm extremely delighted to be here with you all.
Today, what I want to share with you is not those small and delicate desktop ornaments, but an Interest Check (IC) for a set of keycaps.
The inspiration for this set of keycaps comes from the traditional Chinese dyeing and printing technique with profound historical heritage - indigo dyeing.
In China, indigo dyeing has a long - standing history that can be traced back more than 3,000 years.
As early as the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the fermentation and reduction technology of indigo had been put into use.
Amazingly, this ancient technique has withstood the test of time and is still being passed down and applied today.
The reason why I came up with the idea of designing this set of keycaps is that after purchasing multiple sets of blue keycaps, I still haven't been able to find the most ideal shade of blue in my heart. So, I resolutely embarked on the journey of keycap design.
The blue color presented by indigo printed cloth is a kind of quiet and steady dark color. It is low - key and unassuming, not showy, but can stand the test of long - term appreciation.
Its unique charm deeply attracts me. For this reason, I selected this element as the theme of the keycap design.
When designing the personalized icons, I referred to many classic patterns that frequently appear on modern indigo printed cloth, hoping to integrate the unique charm of indigo dyeing into every single keycap.

Today 100 air traffic controllers were fired. Now pilots can go back to landing the old-fashioned way, using their eyes.

Keyboard Keycaps / Suggestions For First Keycaps??
« Last post by ric99 on Mon, 17 February 2025, 04:48:20 »
So, I'm getting all the parts ready to build my first custom keyboard, It is going to be an entry level NK65 with Cherry Reds I'm gonna lube. This is a low budget build, so I would love any suggestions on brands/color schemes/ profiles. (Also, IK this is a keycap page, but if you have suggestions for different switches that you think would be better and what kind of lube you prefer that would also be great.)
Thanks in advance!

Novelkeys has kindly agreed to be the US vendor

I’m good w any variant color wise
Fully support you cutting out anything possible to keep the base kit price at 135 or less as MOQ is hard these days. I’ve used double zero before but would rather have this be made than a 140$ base kit that gets canceled like some other sets recently.
:thumb:

I'd buy full base kit versions of each of these colors if I could. Especially the Magenta(?) used on the Caps Lock and Left Shift
Perhaps there might be a possibility in the future, but I'd like to see how these sample turns out first. Yes, I would love to a super neon pink keycap set if there's interest. For this set, I'm calling the pink on the modifiers 'Magenta' and the pink on the alphas 'Fuchsia'

I did not liked the red color actually it is better to be without red color
Appreciate your opinion/thoughts! As I don't have samples yet, please note that my current renders are not potentially the most accurate, and the 'red' has since been changed to RAL 2005 (the same as GMK Flare) since I was concerned it would be a bit too difficult for 'red' match the fluorescent energy of the other colors. In fact a lot more 'orange' in nature, and not red. I'm calling it 'orange-red', but I'll try to play with some renders and see if it really adds much to the set. The original concept had alphas primarily only orange (with yellow homing keys), which is why the 'red' was initially used; to help introduce a bit of visual variety with the bottom row modifiers. Now that the alphas are a mix of orange and fuchsia, it's purpose is less meaningful visually. So I'll have a play around to see if the 'red' is that important...

I love the changes to the base kit so far, however is there any chance one of the variations of F/J could be Scooped? Having both options of scoop. And bar is a staple I feel that should be considered. Please consider scoop lovers :(.
For now, the yellow F/J will come as both scooped and barred homing keys, whereas the fuchsia F & orange J will come only as barred. Trying to keep the base kitting price in mind atm.
