please do not let FCFS discourage you -- i can guarantee everyone will be tripped up enough to make it a much more even race

uh oh please no kpop or anime trivia

haha, no kpop or anime trivia. it is simple and straightforward.

Isn't the logo an Oni?

yes? Ogre is a common English translation for 鬼.

It's nice to see that the Lightning Count included a red option... Think it'll improve my WPM?

i noticed on the proto that the spacing of the gasket posts (for lack of a better term) is wider on the south side of the case than the north side. is there a specific reason for this or is it just for aesthetic purposes? my thinking was that it could soften esc/backspace but not sure if that was the intended goal or not

hm, i didn't do it on purpose, i tried to pick mounting points that made sense without much thought about how it would/could affect sound.

-----

anyway, i'm just waiting on a PCB to make sure everything assembles properly and then we'll get the show on the road. i'm hoping to get started before we get to July!

Hey guys, I should be getting my PCB for prototype assembly early next week. I'll report back with some photos of the finished build, notes for what needs to be changed (if anything :p), and will give a better idea as to when I plan to start the group buy.

Stay tuned!

FCFS or raffle, what would be ideal?

On the fence. I've never had any luck with Raffles, but FCFS benefits folks in timezone with free time and a fast internet connection.

Quantity is quite limited, so I think FCFS is a small target. A 24-48hr raffle might be the most equitable.
