Koizora Keycaps Set

Intro
Hello guys. Today, we are thrilled to introduce a keycaps set designed and manufactured by FreeTag.

Gallery

Description

The design of Koizora keycaps is inspired by the love movie of the same name. The overall color scheme is low-saturation light blue and light pink, giving people a hazy feeling, just like an ignorant first love.

The main pattern on the keycaps is cherry blossoms, and delicate flowers of various shapes seem to bloom on the keycaps. With the addition of Japanese character elements, paired with pink, blue or silver keyboards, the overall look presents a hint of warm early spring coolness.

Highlights

1. PBT Material: Durability, resistance to oil and high-temperature stability, and a longer lifespan. They often provide a better tactile feel and produce a quieter sound, making them ideal for extended typing or gaming sessions.

2. Dye-sublimated keycaps: They offer vibrant, long-lasting colors that won't fade over time. The dye is embedded into the material, providing excellent durability and a smooth texture. They resist wear and are easy to clean, making them ideal for frequent use. Additionally, the design allows for intricate patterns and legends that enhance the aesthetic appeal of any keyboard.

Interest Checks / [IC] iP-65%
« Last post by njcxqqy on Fri, 14 February 2025, 02:25:03 »
Hello! This is Darwin from CastleBravo Studio.
As the next gernation, we’re excited to unveil a preview of our upcoming product. We are set to meet you officially after the holiday season.
As a continuation of the iF series, this project began its journey back in 2023. After countless refinements and explorations of innovative designs and technologies, we’re proud to present a creation that seamlessly blends graceful curves with craftsmanship.

Inspiration & Creativity
When completing our previous design, an ambitious idea took root — inspired by architecture, particularly the elegant lines and layered aesthetics of traditional Chinese rooftops. These architectural forms embody a harmonious blend of beauty and functionality, a balance we sought to capture in our favorite 65% compact keyboard design.
---
Design Elements: A Dialogue of Inspiration

1. Roof Curves: The Harmony of Aesthetics and Functionality
The roof of traditional Chinese architecture is not only a work of art but also a manifestation of functionality. From no curves to partial arcs, from large curves to gentle slopes, each transformation tells the story of the harmony between structure and necessity. The application of the "fastest water drainage line" principle allows rainwater to flow smoothly, preventing accumulation. Likewise, we use flowing curves to blend aesthetic and functional balance, infusing Eastern architectural philosophy into modern design.

2. Layered Grilles: A Tribute to Craftsmanship
Supporting the elegant curves is the clearly defined grille structure, a reimagining of the ancient architectural purlin beams. Just as purlins supported the roof, our grille holds the design in place. Countless intersecting lines form a rhythmic symphony between the frames, steady yet graceful, making the keyboard a beautiful fusion of function and art.

3. Curved Frame: A Seamless Transition of Flow and Serenity
The midframe, like the spine of a building, is the soul of the design. Inspired by the graceful curves of traditional Chinese ceramics, from the delicate neck to the rounded body, it pays homage to both softness and balance. The arc on the back seamlessly transitions into the edges of the midframe, like a spring breeze gently sweeping through the mountains, warm and full of life.

Dynamic Curves, Layered Stories,
All in pursuit of the perfect fusion of beauty and function.
This is just the beginning — a prologue to the stories we are eager to share.
Our prototypes will debut after the holiday season, showcasing our journey of innovation and aesthetic exploration.
Stay tuned for more tales of creativity yet to be revealed.

The Forbidden Rice Sourdough from Whole Foods very much surprised me with how good it was for a store-baked loaf. I put some smoked sage goat cheese and a thinly sliced, lightly salted heirloom tomato on there, damn  :thumb:
