Where would you like to move, if you had a chance?
If there was no money, job issue or anything else, what place would it be?

Is the blue colour final as shown in the prototype or aiming to be close to renders?

aiming to be closer to the renders.
same for the red color on the black kit.

I can't quite tell from the render, is the red going to be more bright red or burgundy in color?

It will be a bright red like in the renders. The prototype part was in dark burgundy.

The first base kit render has error on Function row as there are no number for F*** 1 to 4, same case for F*** 9 to 12
According to Cannon Keys group buy updates, it took 4 months to reject the first round of color samples? What gives?

No, no. In the correct context: It took 4 Months from GMK to invoice, vendors to pay, GMK to prepare the samples and send them to CK and then send them to the designer. The rejection process probably was pretty straightforward and not taking a lot of time.

GMK requires full payment upfront before samples are accepted?! Or is it a downpayment that is apportioned across the vendors...

I really, REALLY, enjoy the innovation here for the plate mounting method, as well as the simple but beautiful side profile. I also agree with whoever said it above, this would be very interesting to see a stress test as well as a fatigue test over time, but with the way you have your cutouts (especially under the WK), I doubt there will be droop and fatigue. The bumpon is a fantastic idea to start a new era in designing mounting methods, excited to see how this idea can be implemented further in the future. Good luck!

wow! thank you for your informative answer.

my keyboard is classified as MK61 but it's so identical to the one you posted. i suppose that all those are just clones of each other.

unfortunately i did the mistake to order this one and later i found out that it takes only optical switches :(
i tried to find optical switches to order but basically it seems that all are sold out and not reproduced anymore.
if you have any links that i could buy optical yellow switches i'd appreciate it.

question: can i use non optical switches to my keyboard if i cut off those metal leaf legs? or it won't work?

what keyboard you suggest to buy for a beginner that it can use plenty of switches and not restricted only to optical ones?

thanks in advanced and i'm really glad to find you all guys! :)

I believe if the 7u space comes in the base kit would be better.

it's all about profiting from someone's suffering.

When you live in a country where non-health is a for-profit schema.
