Happy New Year!
« on: Mon, 31 December 2012, 09:08:01 »
Greetings from 2013 everyone! Feels pretty much the same as 2012 so far, so don't bother coming if you don't have to :P

But seriously, 2012 was the year I joined the keyboard club, and it's been pretty good since. It's been an interesting last couple of months around here to say the least.

Here's to another year, Geekhack :)

<------ PS. I'm a dinosaur now.

My signature hasn't changed since 2012. I should really update it.

A happy and prosperous new year to all GHers :)

Happy new year!
This year has kinda been a revolution for me.
I built my first desktop, got into thinkpads, got into anime, got into drone music, got into politics, joined the keyboard club, became a gearslut, became an audiophile, started using linux, got a girlfriend.
This year has been great, mostly due to you guys.

Now, whats your new year promises(dunno what you call them in the US.)
Mine is to start programming, and get into BSD.

Happy New Year to all of you. Thanks for accepting me into the fold here (as well as many others). Honestly, this is one of the nicest and easiest-going forums around. Sure, there are some spats here and there, but those just serve to keep things lively. Keep up the good work everyone, and here's one to another great year to come!

Happy new years to you all geek hackers.

Let's all take the resolution to watch our wallets very closely cause there seems to be some invisible thief called "the keyboard" and also known as "new keycaps" that continuously take some money out of it!

So to you all more fun this year modding your loved ones :)

His avatar is just so appropriate, time and time again.

I love my insane neighbors... fireworks at 11:15pm, dead silence at midnight.

We had the first one go off around here at about 10:15, no joke.  About 2 minutes to midnight most of them started up.  Just after midnight the next street put on the best amateur firework display I have seem for a long time, at least a minute's worth.  The last one went off about 1am.  Idiots.

Also please consider that fireworks are illegal in Australia.  Have been for years.
