Some keycap profiles don't need this (hint - SA). Symmetrical / flat spacebar FTW.
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

They're not very sharp and don't stick up at a horrible angle. Feels fine even with my thumb at a steep upward angle (I don't type like this, just testing the feel). Most of the time a person's thumb will present a flat surface to the spacebar, unless you have a very poor wrist angle. For gaming it's worth building up a "palm rest" of something hard to keep your wrist straight (resting the "nub" of your palm on it, not a flat wrist) so you don't do long term damage.

It's shocking how few people use correct ergonomics when typing and gaming. This is your wrists / hands we're talking about, people. You need them, let's keep them healthy.
