Throwing a teensy inside a dell quietkey
« on: Mon, 13 June 2016, 22:20:00 »
I'm thinking about doing this, mainly to give me a function layer but never done anything like this before. Would I simply wire up the connectors where the membrane matrix meets the board to the teensy?

Easier: make a PS/2 to USB converter with that Teensy / other suitable dev board.

You need to solder the PS/2 connectors according to your fimware's instructions. You could do this internally and install the board permanently inside, or use a PS/2 connector and have a removeable adapter that'll work on all of your PS/2 boards.

Check out Soarer's and TMK as good starting points.

N.B. I haven't done this specific project myself yet.

I suppose that's an idea - thanks! there's some space inside but not sure whether there'll be enough! Teensy's are so expensive in the UK though sadface

"However, my view has changed in recent days. Trump’s behavior is so bizarre, so unhinged, and so counter to his short-term interests that the most likely explanation for his actions is that Trump either believes or knows that he is mentioned in the Epstein files in ways that are even more damaging than the blowback he is getting for not releasing the files."
