[IC]Matrix Lab - Noah (65% Keyboard)
« on: Wed, 04 September 2019, 05:20:55 »
Hi, friends of GEEKHACK.We are from mainland China customization team - Matrix lab, we have designed many keyboard (10XVseries,8Xvseries,Abel series, Cain series,Mona series, etc.), Thanks to many foreign friends' love for us, we released IC on GH for the first time in the name of the team. Before that, we started group buying more in China. This time, we will conduct group buying on a global scale.

NOAH is the up and coming first 65% form factor keyboard by Matrix Labs.

Being the first and only 65% in the ABEL range of boards, NOAH retains the overall aesthetics and refinement of the ABEL series. The board is trademarked by a sharp outline, thick bezels and a chamfered edge (which has been ever present since the first ABEL and many might have missed). The use of a chamfered edge lends a well-balanced look and breaks an otherwise harsh outline to the edges of the board.

The 7 RGB LED indicators are not only aesthetic but serve a functional purpose.

The end side of armor strip still follows the style of ABELX,according to the component’s different colour and structure for reduce bulky feeling.

The back side of the keyboard,we use multilevel mosaic structure in this side ,it will make the users feel more layered and three dimensional in the visual effect.

The keyboard employs a TOP MOUNT mounting method.

The PCB is QMK compatible and uses USB-C (designed and supported by @astro).

Interesting top section design exposing the bottom metal and giving it somewhat of a deconstructed and industrial look.

I dig, and it's 65% which is a bonus for me. Need updates soon. Looking forward to the GB :thumb:

Is Split Spacebar support not planned?

If so, that'd be a bummer...

But i am interested none the less.

RGB PCB is underglow or each switch RGB?
Any chance for a full polycarb option? I'd buy both if I can find the funds for all of this....

Hey MatrixLab!

Definitly interested and want to buy this board as my first keyboard GB.

Questions!:
1. Since i am mostly interested in keyboard layout 2, will there be more spacebar size/pieces options for the keyboard?
2. Are the RGB LED indicators customizable when it comes to colour preference? and as a functions, do you mean CAPS and numlock as examples, and are there more functions for the LEDs?
3. Is the PC and aluminum pieces mix and match or will PC be a TOP specific part?

Mid october can't come any faster and congratulation on the design!

Also something completly selfish but appreciated if answered:
Any colour scheme you think fits for GMK Vaporwave? :P

Why there are those big screws under the case? Dont affect the stability of the board?

And why 2 USB cutouts? A bit weird imo. Overall i like the design of the board because its different but at the same time I see many "accesories" that increase the price and are there not great integrated with the design

Was hoping to see a 8XV variant but this works too, lol.
Once a set shines, it is truly yours. It is then your job to nurture it and care for it.
Love it until it blossoms into the beautiful fully and evenly shined set it has always wanted to be since it saw a shined set on Instagram under the hashtag #perfection.
Support it and maintain it until it will grow into itself and become one with itself. Then you can truly enjoy the typing experience
Sincerely,
