Scuffed my DZ60
« on: Mon, 07 October 2019, 08:44:29 »
Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong sub but I'm in a bit of a pickle with my new $350 board and I'm getting increasingly nervous about bricking my new PCB.

I got my new keyboard with a DZ60RGB-ANSI PCB all installed, and I tried flashing QMK Firmware using QMK Toolbox, and it told me to do Esc + input cable and at that point was when my PCB stopped working.

Windows now spits out an error saying unrecognised device on both my PC and my Manjaro Linux laptop  :(

Any help is much appreciated!

Is there a hard reset button on the PCB itself? If not, you can manually reset it by connecting the two leads with a paper clip.

The new DZ60 has a reset button you need two connect the two pins it's somewhere in the middle of the PCB. It's best to compile a new hex file and flash it. Everything should work again like normal after that.
