[IC] Bushi - Tactile and Linear Switches
« on: Wed, 30 October 2019, 19:05:25 »
Based from GMK Red Samurai's Colorway
Disclaimer: This IC/GB is not affiliated to RedSuns, the designer of GMK Red Samurai. But I have his permission to use the colors for these custom switches

IC Form: https://forms.gle/tdub6NtFX6ZdnBvc7

Red Stem, Yellow Housing
Tactile, 67g bottom out
Nylon PA Bottom, Polycarbonate Top, POM Stem
These are recolored T1s. Tactility is comparable with Holy Pandas
Force Curve and Technical Specs: https://i.imgur.com/NPVlrtk.jpg

Gray Stem, Yellow Housing
Linear, 67g bottom out
Nylon PA Bottom, Polycarbonate Top, POM Stem
These are smooth linears that uses the same housing with the tactile version. I personally use Durock's Smoky Version of these linears and I would say that smoothness is comparable with tealios and inks.
Force Curve and Technical Specs: https://i.imgur.com/xzr10xf.jpg

Some Info:
  • Manufactured by Durock
  • Tactile and Linear will be available. Both will be unlubed (Factory lube is inconsistent so it's better to lube them yourself
  • MoQ: 10,000 for Linear and 10,000 for Tactile
  • Pricing: Tactile:$0.5/pc, Linear:$0.4/pc $0.48/pc (includes paypal fees)
  • Shipping Cost: Kindly check the table below
  • MoQ per person: 10pcs (additional in multiples of 10)
  • Timeline: TBD

*Note on slight price increase on the linears: The earlier posted price was from an outdated quotation from Durock. I've been transacting with them from earlier this year and bought some switches from them (both tactile and linears). They only updated their price recently and I am not aware of it when I posted the IC.

I'm guessing the tactiles will be similar to koala in feel?

Just to be clear, the tactile version would effectively be t1s yeah? I've been meaning to try some

This has gained enough interest to go to GB phase. Will post an update within the week. Start of GB is still TBD but I plan to have it by end of November

Do switches come with expiration date? they become worst, mushier, for example.

No, they won't become mushier, if anything, they become smoother as they are broken in. Take vintage Cherry MX Blacks for example.

My point is that  if I will just buy them and leave them in bag, unused, will the switches get worse?

If they are being kept in a dry and reasonably cool place, no

Hey there.  I've submitted the gb form a few days earlier but never received Paypal invoice.  Could you check if I was able to get on the train?
