Stormtrooper White (H-297) | Snow White (H-136) | Light Sand (H-142) | Plumb Brown (H-298) | Graphite Black (H-146)

               Mojito (H-313) | Crushed Orchid (H-314) | Copper Suede (H-310) | Tequila Sunrise (H-309)

Just as a heads up, these chips are fairly inaccurate. They are made of a really cheap pliable metal and it coats and takes color fairly differently from aluminum. It is a good basis for understanding, but really only use these as a loose guide, not a 1:1 comparison.
Quite right. Your the man. Never had anything cerakoted before so I have no clue. It is nice feeling the finish though, which I imagine will be closer to the real thing even if colors aren't completely. I might go with stormtrooper white just because of the glassy smooth finish.

Thanks for posting pictures! I actually prefer the way the matte looks! I think I might actually go with Snow White :O!
It does look like a cool off white. It's not stormtrooper white white but it's got a little bit of cream. If you go too warm or yellow it looks like aged plastic rather than a color choice. The snow white could look good with a lot of caps.

Earlier than expected, practice form here: https://forms.gle/T8tZfmLbdwiSecMq9

This form is only representative of the option selections, not the overall length of the form or a complete order.  This is stripped down to only show selections for 1 case, 1 pcb and 1 plate.  The real form will use the same option selections but have more sections.

Sharing this early to help clear up any confusion people have with the current setup.  Any helpful feedback is appreciated.

Official start time will be released on Monday morning (EST).

Will cerakote be a separate option under Case Color or a separate question? And will it need to be the H series code or name or either?

Blargh, Good thing this was put up. Now I gotta decide ANSI vs ISO.

My current take:

HHKB + ANSI
Standard + ISO

I just like symmetry when it comes to WKL or HHKB, and think ISO breaks up the standard look a little.

Yep it'll be there, it's a simple thing that I didn't think needed to be seen beforehand. Like I said i stripped this one down a lot, if you can handle the plate selection then the rest will be easy.

Ooohh Alps plates! Nice!
Hey weasto can you provide the various possible Alps layouts? Thanks.
For ex, I assume "Alps - Multistation' is something like this? ↓

And I also wonder, between these 2 layouts, which one is "Alps - ANSI Split Right Shift":

Alps Multistation is basically JIS layout, looks like this, but for the 00 plate we will use the normal split right shift setup not the stock inverted one.  So the 00 plate will have the 1U closest to the case wall: http://i.imgur.com/VPZzj1m.jpg

The picture you showed are multistation caps with some other supplemental caps (on E3E's Miramasa) but they are in an ANSI layout.

When I say split right shift it is only that, not the traditional HHKB layout with split backspace.  I personally think split backspace with Alps is more pain than it's worth because you pretty much never have a cap with a good legend for it and the rest of the top row caps are never really right either.  That is of course unless you own a lot of random sets and could piece something together, but I'd rather keep the options to standard backspace for Alps since it works for more people and helps keep me from drowning in options.

Yes of course.  No one needs practice with that so I didn't include it.  Mostly wanted people to be familiar with option selection.

It would show your dedication to grabbing one. I'm kind of a fan of unknown launch. Especially since I'll be working. Means the window won't be instant. And if I run a minute or two late getting back to my desk I might get one.

The reality is either way people will be happy/unhappy

This is what I was thinking. Nobody wants to sit there and refresh with an unknown time, but the people that are really dedicated to the board will. I wouldn't suggest it if there weren't a bunch of resellers looking for a quick buck. It's a pain in the ass, but those more willing to run uphill for the board should have it

You have to realise that for some people in EU and Asia thatís odd hours for them, so theyíre gonna just have to go with no sleep for the next day or take an entire day off just for this. Iíve got kids so I canít commit to staying up all night, so it means I donít have a shot at it anymore if it becomes an unknown launch time.

Please keep it at the current GB format for EU and Asia people :(

I wasnít sold on the idea at first, but Iíve definitely warmed up to it. All I would personally want from a sale like that is an earliest possible time it could start, so I can plan my day around it and make sure Iím not stuck in a lesson from when it can start.
