Needs at least two more redacted caps for row 3 and you would cover Norde kits basically. Can't exchange some on the same row because then you loose those caps, H and L.

if this goes through, would prefer it to all be doubleshot instead of having the pad printing tho

I like that with pad printing you have the ability to rub off the print over time to reveal what's beneath. Would be even cooler if GMK could pad print over double-shot but I don't know if that's possible.

That’s exactly what this set is proposing, pad print on top of double shot.

I said the same thing when I first saw this set on stream. An SCP logo novelty would be great (although, yours is upside down in the pic). It should look like this:

So is the plan to make new molds or just let current GMK QC account for the illegibility of various legends?

By the time this goes into production, the pad printing won't even be needed.

There are no new legends in the base kit, the marker areas are pad printed on top of regularly produced keycaps.

oh this actually makes sense. Then with constant use.. reveal the legends gradually overtime.

Aww yiss. Signed up just to post about how excited I am. However, I do have a couple of suggestions: It's be awesome to include a few more redacted keys to enable much better ISO-DE compatibility. I get it's a niche thing. Of course it won't be possible to cover every single thing, in particular with the numbers but redacting a couple of layout-specific keys (or adding new ones, though that of course would increase cost) would help.

I definitely would love a full ISO-DE set of this but I realize that's unlikely. But I hope there's a way to utilize the set's concept to offer a lot of compatibility :)

Just redact the keys that are different in Colevrak, then viola! an alpha and Colevrak set for one low low price of...?

If you're considering a Colevrak+ kit, it need only be half the typical size at 22 keycaps.

damn that's a bunch of redacted keys haha

actually there could be a completely redacted alphas kit with some extra 2-line redacted keys, more people would buy it and it would also support colevrak (and a bunch of other layouts hue hue)

What’s the best way to get notified when the group buy goes live. Also will there be any options for ErgoDox users other than ordering multiple kits to get the right amount of 1.5u and 2u caps?

You can create your own redacted image and get it printed at http://x-raypad.com. Here’s a mat I had done there, 5mm thickness https://imgur.com/a/FGD1msQ

This is what I plan to do is they don’t offer one.

Any chance this could get a redacted international (NorDeUk+x?) kit? You could call it OSINT kit, $69 to my paypal for the idea please.

This set lends itself towards that because it wouldn't have to be as big as it would be in regular sets.

I second this!

Love it! Would absolutely be interested. What was the inspiration on redacting 7 in the number row, or was it random?

Just an idea, redacting the 2 would better support NorDeUK which might use " instead of @ as the modifier, so it would be more universally applicable but I suppose it might look too clustered next to the W and E...

Other than that, ███████!

I like this, I just would like to see a few more redacted alphas as well.

Needs at least two more redacted caps for row 3 and you would cover Norde kits basically. Can't exchange some on the same row because then you loose those caps, H and L.

Dixie, Sir, could this please please please be considered? This set is ideal to market to and help people from niche corners of the hobby fill their boards. I'd be happy to help with NorDe kitting if needed. I don't know the first thing about Colemak or Dvorak, but if those guys could also be incorporated into that alongside with people who'd like a few more redacted keys I'm sure an extention kit would sell well.
