GB 15 march 2022

Estimated delivery: End of April 2024

ohmahgawd another space themed set. This time inspired by this [redacted](dwarf planet) called pluto.
red accent and tannish pink come from the surface of pluto. The blue mod color from the surface and haze.

This haze color is my favorite thing about pluto and i really like the color, that is why i chose that as the mods

Left one shows the keycaps in color match lighting conditions. Right one shows the keycaps in my normal desk lighting condition.
The kitting renders show the color in kind of an in between of these conditions, which was my goal. 
Reminder that you are looking at a picture taken on a phone that shifts the color slightly on a monitor that displays color differently.
For certainty, I can say I am pleased with the samples.

Just took some more pictures.
Wanted to show you the color change under bright white light and warm room light (mixed with the white light in the background and monitor light).
This time with white keycaps as reference.

hello all. I received full set samples and it's a bit of a setback.
Alpha legend color was almost black instead of brown, blue and alpha color also looked different compared to the first sample.
Hopefully the colors go back to the first sample color. I've also asked for the alpha legend to be less saturated based on the first sample.
So unfortunately another round of qc.

Whats to become of mechs&co orders for this set?  It should be shipping soon but, with the vendro having dissolved.  Is it just lost $$$$ ??

UPDATE:

So production has finished and I am disappointed to say the least.

After 2 years of a slow color matching process, it turned out to be useless. It was already not going very smoothly, but the final production color is completely different from any sample I have received before. The legends turned almost Bordeaux red, the blue is very bright.

MilkyWay states that during the color matching process, they were changing molds in order to produce better quality keycaps. Due to that process change, colors were not able to be reproduced. They are aware of the issue and are dealing with the problem. I am very sorry for the people who bought the set and received something different from expected.

For people considering buying extras, I have asked MilkyWay to update the product page with images of the actual set. The current renders are not close to the final product.
