The key is keeping the pricing low.

For example, if i could make TKL base 80 bucks, and a numpad kit 10 bucks, would people still complain? I think not.

No question that minimizing waste plastic is good for the environment. I'm a numpad user, and I'm all for TKL+Numpad with your target prices ($80 TKL, $10 Numpad).

I recently looked at 17 previous KKB GBs and Numpad users did not fare as well. Average prices were Numpad $20, TKL $92, Full $96. So with split kits, Numpad users paid about 4 times what TKL users saved.

as i still don't own any KKB or Dolch sets, this would've been perfect for me. really like the "neo" stuff, shame we won't get this set now.

Damn this set got canned.. Shame cause I was really happy with my KKB Skidata Neo set & was really looking forward to this one. KKB has excellent quality IMO, just shy of GMK but definitely better than any double shot ABS sets beyond them. I will say the color matching was a bit off with Skidata Neo, I originally joined that GB for everything but the base kit hoping to use them with the GMK Skiidata base I have, but the the blacks were just off enough to make it noticeable so I ended up having to grab the KKB base. Although beyond that I have no complaints about any of the 3 KKB sets I got as of right now.
