I think the colors section was poorly worded.
Masje is colormatching to a TA G81-3011HAD, not the 2015 set. TA90 was also colormatched to a G81-3011HAD so the colors should be very similar.
Worth noting that TA90, while much better than the 2015 set, was a tiny bit off with it's grey (can see if you zoom in on the first pic here https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=96387.msg2685960#msg2685960) so there is still some room for improvement.
