Gah, Does anyone know if they ship to New Zealand? I translated New Zealand and got this新西兰 but can't find it in the Asia/Oceania list.

You used the chinese (simple).  I used google translate:

"Chinese (traditional)" :  united states = 美國
"Chinese (traditional)" : new zealand = 新西蘭

Chinese (traditional) makes most sense because its the one that works for "United States".  Simple does not.

I cannot find 新西蘭 on the list.  Although one is extremely close.  The 2nd and 3rd symbol is same, but first symbol is slightly different on the list.
19th option down.

Are you using Chrome browser? If you choose any country from the list, hit "show original" from auto translate bar, then select "Translate to English" (from context menu) the list of countries will be translated too.

Actually you don't need to show the original. Pressing English from the translation language options again will translate all the text that has not yet been translated.

Wow, they are extremely fast, even for Canada! Shipped out 4-6 hours later when I ordered it. And it's already in Vancouver:

2011/02/19   03:39    VANCOUVER   International item arrived in Canada and will be reviewed by Customs

2011/02/17   21:11      International item has left the origin country and is en route to Canada

Woo! Now I just hope it's not going to be in customs too long :(

Yeah, they're really great. I'm definitely looking forward to using them again.

They mark the keyboards as gifts, so they should breeze through customs with no waiting.

No problem.

My total with shipping, paypal fees (if there was any? can't remember), and all that came up to just under $160. Was about $159.xx

Really good price shipped, especially for $CDN and if there's no customs.

I hope they don't give me customs since I wrote on the "order note" section on armpygroup to "please mark as a gift"... I hope that note was to them, and not to be put on the box, lol. Otherwise the customs could look at that and see it wasn't a properly marked.. maybe? Not sure.

They marked it as gift for me (and another gh'er or two I've read stories of) without any need to ask. You should be good.

I'll continuously update this post.

Here is my current shipping.  Paid paypal $161.48 for tenkeyless brown at 2/17 around 6pm (CST time).  Shipping to Kansas city, Missouri.

Processed through Sort Facility   February 20 2011, 02:56 pm   KANSAS CITY, MO 64121
Inbound Out of Customs   February 19 2011, 08:01 am
Inbound Into Customs
Inbound International Arrival   February 18 2011, 08:27 pm   ISC CHICAGO IL (USPS)
Foreign International Dispatch   February 17 2011, 09:18 pm   TAIPEI INT AMF, TAIWAN

It really sucks that Monday is a USPS holiday, so they're closed.  The board is 20 minutes from my house, yet I have to wait til tomorrow.

Technically, the "gift" thing only works up to $50.  Also, I believe I remember reading somewhere that with EMS services sometimes they let your package go straight through (for fast delivery) but send you a bill LATER for the brokerage and taxes.  Unfortunately you can't assume you got away tax free just because the package was delivered instead of a pickup slip.

Please keep us up to date.

the problem is the most likely are going to tax you since gift is for them normal package..
Most likely the guy will give your package 30$ please for taxed and etc.

I have to be happy that the Finnish customs are so lazy that they will let any package with "gift" on it pass through without checking anything on it. On rare occasions they might check if the content is really what it's supposed to be but any package marked as gift will certainly not get any import taxes or customs fees on it.

Just want to say my order with them is going through just fine. I was concerned that after paypal hit I logged into their website it said I never paid yet (a day later mind you) and that the status of shipping is (no shipping) this worried me, just in case I sent a customer service ticket they responded within 12 hours (very fast imo and they also replied in english) stating they didn't know what I meant, Payment cleared and they will be shipping in 1-3 days. I didn't respond and wrote it off to a crap website translation thanks to the browser.

I will post again in this thread commenting on shipping time of arrival and if product is accurate and working. So far they respond faster than newegg and even cross a language barrier to service their customers.

Wow! It's already here! Hands down best shipping experience I've had.

Ordered on Thursday, and arrived today went through customs in a breeze and is now here waiting for me at my house.

No custom duties/taxes! Will provide more info once I get home.

This has been said before, but the delays in the status of you orders are because they update the status manually. Some people have had even a few days before their payment was "accepted" in the order status.

Wow - nice.  Please keep in mind what I said before - I have had EMS deliveries arrive which did not require tax/customs payment to be paid in order to receive the package.  Instead, an invoice arrived at a later date with the charges.  Please keep the thread up to date (and your fingers crossed).

From Canada Post? I have never gotten anything like that at a later date before. I order from the states/china a few times too. One time I got taxed (on delivery) for $12 for a $260 item lol. That's about it.

Not sure if I heard stories about this happening to Canada Post either. Ive heard it happening to UPS customers.

Oh well. Hopefully nothing shows up. It went in and out of customs on the weekend so it wasn't in there long at all.

Not to sound rude but I didn't want to read through 16 pages of comments just to state my experience with them thus far is going great and they have responsive customer service. As well do not be afraid as your paypal clearance wont update even if your account shows the withdrawl, this is normal.

The only difference even if I read the previous posts is I would have worded my posts differently saying that "as other posters claim the transaction isn't updated accurately"

I do however now feel even better hearing that it is a common misconception and everything is 'normal'

I didn't intend to sound rude or anything. I understand you not wanting to read through all the pages in this thread, and just wanted to state that you're not the only one with this "problem". IMO something like this should be edited in the OP so people could only read that and get all the information they need in order to purchase from Armygroup and understand what's happening, if there seems to be a problem.

I agree with what you said it would have helped me stop worrying lol. Maybe some sort of vendor thread that is a sticky/wiki? like the other nice threads? and maybe not just for AG but for all vendors?

I am sorry for jumping I am having a really bad day at work and was rushed typing the posts. I tend to become defensive and think the world is against me lol. thanks for responding nicely and making me see i was an idiot.

I volunteer Wellington1869 to do the Wiki on Elitekeyboards.

This gets proposed a lot.  Too much work IMHO.  Just keeping the WW Shopping Links up to date is a PITA.  If you can't handle the wild west of internet shopping don't go to Mexico.

Well I just said wiki but it really is a thread on here right? Maybe just sorta like this?

Yes, but only on EMS services.  Most deliveries you have to pay to receive the package but for EMS they prioritize delivery performance and come collect from you later.  I generally don't receive EMS packages and it's been a number of years but it has happened to me personally a few years ago (not just an Internet story).

You never know, though, you may have no trouble.  Sometimes they don't bother depending on the amount and if the recipient is clearly an individual at a residential address.  It's all up to them whether they bother or not, but they are supposed to.

Packages marked "GIFT" are only supposed to be fee-free up to a declared value of $50 - was AG accurate on the declaration?

No, they are willing to mark the value down, they don't give a &%@$ about legal issues from your side, you will have to ask them, though. I did that, save me 12.5% from all kind of taxes.

Customs review is hit or miss, too. I import a lot of stuff, from anime figures to games, mechanical keyboards... etc... sometimes, I have to pay tax for something with $20 value declared, even marked as gift (just a few cents, lol) and with my recent purchases from Armygroup, 4 keyboards, 2 keycap sets, total value marked as NT$3000 (about $150?), they charged me nothing... can't complain, of course.

Armygroup has great service, 1 of my 2 keycap sets has all the key over the numpad blank, I ask them if I can exchange. They reply and told me to keep the keyset for "future use", they will send me another set as I ordered.

My impressions so far with PCHome and Armygroup are all great, definitely recommended. Sameday shipping, great customer service, willing to lower the shipping cost if you purchases multiple items, mark as gift and lower the declared value if needed...

PS: I don't live in the US, so YMMV.

Got my filco today!  WOW THAT WAS FAST!  If it wasn't for Presidents day (Monday), it would've taken 4 days.  So it took 5 days.  17th to 22nd.  Even over the holiday weekend.

Missouri, USA.

I like the feel, and weight, and keycaps better on the steelseries 6gv2.  Only thing I like on this better is slightly softer touch, and there's a definite tactile bump THAT I CAN FEEL.  SO much more compared to linear switch.  I hate linear switch.

Wonder why I ordered a FKBN87M/EB, yet bottom of board it says FKBN87M/CB?   CB?  I guess that's the chinese layout vs english layout?  Board seems to work perfect for me.

I can tell my touch typing went up a smidge so far from the easy keypresses.  Normally I do 70-90.  Or 90 on DELL if I'm lucky.  First try on typingtest.com (astronauts, 1min) I got a 96 wpm.

EDIT:
I just spent like an hour trying to beat my typing speeds.  Every time I get like 104-108 speed (aesops fable and astronauts), adjusted speed 95-100.  This keyboard allows me to do that.  I know for a fact that I definitely cannot do that with my DELL, or the 6gv2.

Impressions so far are that this keyboard is a blast. Couldn't have expected better service from Armygroup. Definitely buy it.

No word on customs.

This feels a lot better than my Das Professional S Silent. Even though they're both Cherry Browns, the filco has a lot more sturdiness to it, and the key presses feel better for some reason - a lot more fluent.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the correct link/number for the tenkeyless seems to be 6092.

BTW, those are "FR-4", so I take it it's the new Majestouch 2, with the nice PCB ?

Where are you getting $114?

I'm assuming those are Taiwan Dollars.  I show the tenkeyless and full versions are $4300 and $4980, respectively.  Unless I'm missing something, those convert to $144.99 and $167.92, respectively, not including shipping...

On the other hand, it looks like the english tenkeyless tea axis is $3200, or $107.90 US, plus shipping, which is what, another $20?  Tea Axis is browns right?

I swear it was 3400 Taiwan Dollars when I checked it earlier (obviously a mistake by them). $200 is just an insane price to pay for a Filco.

I think the shipping will cost you about $40ish since they use EMS.

They raised the price already, it was NT$3400 for the Tenkeyless version and NT$3600 for the fullsize version, I'm not sure about the price of fullsize version, though.

But I'm damn sure about the price of Tenkeyless version, because I have ordered two, lol...

The order status is currently list as "preparing to ship", so I'm not sure if they are going to discard my order or honor their mistake and proceed to ship as ordered.

We will see, I'll update.

it was the correct link, they removed the old link with lower price and add another product (same) with updated price, so another id has been generated.

edit 2:

I take back my word above, sorry, 6092 is Chinese version, 6093 is English version, apparently they removed English version for some reason. Don't know what they are going to do with my order :D

So the pictures for the 6092 are inaccurate, as they clearly show English keycaps...

it's for illustrative purpose only, I guess... the layout lower down the page clearly shows the Chinese characters...

Good point.
For someone like me that will change the keys anyway, that's no big deal.

I'm still waiting for a confirmation that those are Majestouch 2, though...

"FR-4 dual substrate" something is one of the differents between Majestouch and Majestouch 2, so I'm guessing they are Majestouch 2.

They sent me an email asking if they can cancel the order because the price has changed... lol...

I don't know if I still want the keyboard at this price. $180 shipped is a lot for a Filco.
