Fixed the cable. It's not pretty but it was pretty straightforward. Works fine without the solenoid btw. (except my neigbors are probably getting AM radio intereference now!)
Been looking at the ricercar spos PCB. I think I'm gonna cut off the right 2 columns. The PCB is double printed (front and back) which makes it pretty hard to see where the tracings go, especially since a lot dive under the switches. I may have to desloder some switches before I can even understand the PCB tracing..
Should not be hard to cut the daughterboard too there should be only 2 or 3 connections to resolder there if I cut the right most 2 columns off.
Actually looking at the daughterboard I think I can cut it without any re-soldering at all.
In the true spirit of the ricercar spos, I will spread all relevent information all across geekhack in a totally incoherent format, so no newbie will ever understand the whole thing.
