I finally used my MX11900. Took a while to clean it out. Missing one of the pieces of a stabilizer... the plastic cross-point insert, so I made do. Too bad I bought this way too long ago to do anything about it with the seller. The way I rigged it and the key I put it on make it barely noticeable.
Anyway, this is Cherry Black, and I should hate it. I only got this keyboard because it was cheap.
This is great.
A little tough, but overall, I can't believe it.
I'm thinking about swapping in some lighter springs or something, but all that aside, I think this might be my new daily driver. Too bad, wallet.
I can't be in love with Cherry Black though (out of context hilarity)... it might just be the way this board is constructed. I'm trying to ignore the excellence of the keycaps, but still feel there's something I'm missing.
I just feel like this wouldn't be the same on a Filco. Do the Cherry-branded Blue/Brown boards feel so much different compared to the Filcos?
I don't want to unwrap my Ricercar SPOS because I know I'll hate the layout and wish I didn't un-NIB it.
