This got me thinking, how much would it cost if x5 Caps Lock key were to be produced (in the same position of Backspace)?

Because when I started this earlier 3 people inc. me were interested in one:

Thing is that if you wanted to do this you will have to get the COLEMAKBACKSPACE kit ($4) + this caps lock change, unless if the people that voted for the kit also wants this included in it.

(to other people reading and wondering what is going on -- why not change backspace and caps lock around? look how easier it is to hit capslock (imagine this would be backspace) than backspace (imagine this was now capslock) and imagine the possibility that it actually said this on your keyboard!)

Just one thing - the name implies that it is applicable to only colemak but it can be any keyboard layout, therefore do you think a name change would be in order for example REVERSECAPS or something like that?

Since any keyboard layout can switch the Caps Lock in the Backspace position e.g. by registry change / modified installer

Blank keys: SP has some of these in stock, so I will ask for a price quote.
Then you can choose your blank keys from their list and have them shipped along with the other keys. I will handle this separately, because I don't want to have any further delay.

If some of the kits which got only low interest get more votes, we can still order them until the production begins.

Right I had forgotten about that; but what about adding a Capslock key to the COLEMAKBACKSPACE kit, thus making it Culinia's REVERSECAPS? That would increase the price, but only add one key.

Are Culinia and I the only ones who want a swap of Capslock and Backspace?

it is a standard kit, just with all black keys with white lettering.  The STANDARD kit has a lot of gray keys and i suggested an all black key set with white lettering instead.  I'll be getting one next year for sure!

There's no single kit with all keys, but you can order blank kits with single sized keys and another with modifiers.

I'm not sure about the spacebar either, but I'm ordering a SPACENEWGREY to try. Finally, squarebox asked about the switch offset for the tab key; I have no information about this one.

So I'm planning to use a STANDARD with SPACENEWGREY and hope only the left shift'll be wrong.

Edit: I'll also use a few keys from the NUMERIC kit to complete the numpad.
