RETRO/SPACELEO/color

You need RETRO/SPACE because there is no space bar in RETRO/STD87 .

Ok so to get this
[ Attachment Invalid Or Does Not Exist ] 27910[/ATTACH]

do I need

RETRO/STD87/GREEN/GREY
RETRO/SPACE

OR

RETRO/STD87/GREEN
RETRO/SPACE

Sorry to ask so many questions I just want it like the picture but with green letters.

Thanks 7bit

I am new to geekhack and have a few questions about ordering from this group buy.
...

Questions:

1. The Round4 wiki lists the STD kit as 109 keys (without spacebar). What are the extra keys beyond 103?

2. The FAQ at the end of the ROUND4 wiki states that the default for ROUND3 arrow keys is TEXT and to order the ROUND3/ARR kit to obtain arrow symbols. The only colors listed for ROUND3/ARR sets are ORANGE>NONE, WHITE/RED>RED and RED. How would I specify a set of arrow symbol keys with the standard white on dark grey colors?

3. What color legends are on the ROUND3 orange WASD and ARR keys?

4. Was it correct to order CHERRYRGB104 and CHERRYREDESC or should I have specified ROUND3/RGB104? What colors would the legends/keys be on these sets?

5. Is there a Windows set available with the ROUND3 style? ROUND3/WINDOWS?

Thank you for your time and patience. I appreciate this opportunity to obtain doubleshot keys.

1: There are F and J without nub, Caps Lock with and without step, Control with and without step.
2: I've corrected this and added BLACK (which is very dark grey for this style).
3: Round3 stuff com,es always with white text.
4: ROUND3/RGB104 would match the style of Round3 keys, CHERRYRGB104, etc. are to match existing Cherry keys.
5: Yes, but it seems it is not in my list ...
 ... now it is.

1.25 shift isn't part of the modifier kit i assume? I'm wondering 'cause i can only see 14 out of the 15 modifier keys on the us layout keyboard here. http://deskthority.net/wiki/File:Round4_standard_kits_001.png

Edit: Also, for the STD 104 key kit... are the extra keys 5 in the set for ISO and other boards? Have to check so I'm not missing any key. =)

I don't know about the Steelseries keyboards. The best way is to measure the distances of the space bar yourself or ask Ripster, the number one keyboard expert.

FYI, SS keyboard have Leopold spacebar

I've submitted orders twice now.  First time as:  SPH/STD87/WHITE/BLACK 1

Second time (after getting below response and then perusing the Wiki some more):  SPH/STD87/BLACK 1

But each time I got the same e-mail reply of:

Order-ID|Description|Price|Qty|Pcs|Total
Total   |           |     |   |  0| 0.00

What format do I need to use for a Standard 87 set of sphericals, white lettering on black?  Maybe I'm misunderstanding the Wiki tables, but I do believe this combo is available.  Hopefully the problem is just a matter of my not formatting the preorder request info correctly.  Maybe I should have submitted CLEARALL first before ordering the second time?  (Both e-mail confirmations had the same order number, Preorder #0105)

You remove the stabilizer inserts from your Leopold key caps and fit them into the SP key caps.

If they are a bit lose, just fit some piece of a plastic bag between stabilizer insert and key cap.

Ok. So what is the 15th key in the mod set? I see tab, caps lock, 2 shift, 2 control, 2 super, 2 alt, meta, return, the |\ button and backspace... so that's 14 out of 15 :P

So the std set covers iso then (since you didn't mention that)?

No, the FULL kits consist of:

CH1800 (13 keys)
CH1800OLD (4 additional keys)
NOPOO (6 additional keys)
CUSTOMKBD (2 additional keys)

these are 25 keys in total.

Because J-shape Return and 1.25 units Shift are in the language kits, they are not included.

Space bars are separate.

Came Case Is When All First Letters Of A Word Are Upper Case And The Rest Is Lower Case.

This Style Is Mostly Prefered By Pascal And Java-Programmers.

ALL-CAPS IS PREFERED BY COBOL PROGRAMMERS.

&& all lower_case() is prefered by C-programmers.

STD is the standard kit (covers 104 key Filco and Cherry keyboards, except the space bar which comes separately).

Enter, Caps Lock, Escape.

The key caps shown in the picture are color samples for the sphericals. They are from Cherry and no longer in production. The SP spherical key caps look slightly different.

I believe you have to specify "SPH" (spherical) in the order to get the roundish shape you are talking about. Otherwise, u'll probably just get those "squarish" shapes.

so is there a pic of the shape of the keycaps?
I am not into that whole roundish shape, I like the squarish one that comes with the filcos instead

A last question about STEELSERIES kit : is the spacebar always dark ? (eg. in DARK/STEELSERIES/ORANGE)
This kit should need a 1.25 unit **** (included in JRET kit)

DARK/STEELSERIES/ORANGE comes in orange, except that there is no STEELSERIES space bar. What are the measures of that psace bar (width and distance of the key mounts)?

Interesting. So just to clarify, will the Steelseries kit include a replacement "big ass" enter key?

I've been considering buying a Steelseries board but the difficulty in replacing the non-standard key caps has put me off so far.

Can anyone post a picture of a blank standard on white body tenkeyless Filco? :)

I saw lister's http://geekhack.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=19897&d=1309416104. Just really wanna see how it would look without the texts.

Edit: 7bit, how would I order a similar set up like lister's in the link, but with blank keys?

Also, could we get a notice when this group buy is close to finalizing using those little alert style stuffs on the top of the page?
